Pros +
- It’s an excellent location
- Leaving, and driving home 3hrs instead of staying the night
- Very poor
Cons -
- Definitely not the nicest place, needs a major upgrade and just felt a bit grubby. In saying that, it was the most affordable place in that area by hundreds of dollars ! So if you plan on being out and about most of the time, than it’s totally fine for a night or 2
- The windows didn't lock, check in was a joke (I was hung up on, while trying to contact them about getting the access codes). Health and safety problem. A building inspector would have a field day. I was worried that either someone would break in and assault me or the place would burn down.
- Check in system was a joke and stole 2hrs out of my day to ensure my prepaid accom was not cancelled. Their remote check in was not working properly and when I complied with their requests I still didn't receive my room details before check in time. When I enquired why this was. I was asked to prove my payment which had been completed more than a month prior. Very poor system for a basic pub room

Good location, good price but poorer standard than expected.
The bathroom was dirty, the bins hadn’t been emptied, the bed didn’t have linen (the doona for our double bed was a single that had been flipped horizontal and didn’t fit in the doona cover). No body wash, just a previously used soap. The towels had stains on them.
The location and the room was clean.
The shared toilet had no light. It was inconvenient to use on the night.
Nothing about this dump was enjoable
$229 a night and no private shower. Main door doesnt close let alone lock, shower in comon shared bathroom with only a kmart shower curtain for privacy. My 20 year old daughter wouldnt use shower due to this. Toilet was a joke only 1 light in 1 toilet. And for $229 for the night you would expect a TV, but no. Due to air con tube poking through window, it was open and the noise was a joke from pub and building site across road. I strugled to even find a fire escape. We were in room 8 up on 2nd floor. How this dump is legally allowed to operate is beyond me.
Good location near Pyrmont Bay L1 tram station
My room was on level 3. It's no lift and the stair is kinda narrow. Also, the hotel name is same with the Pyrmont Bay Hotel pub which cause confusion when searching from tge Google map.
The location was good
It was very basic, the most boring room i have ever seen, and there was no hairdryer
Chosen for location and cost, which was good and reasonable. comfy bed. Big bathroom
No tea & coffee facilities
Location
I got room not really safe one door still open cover with the certain
I loved the spot great location , the place in general I felt relaxed and safe , was pretty clean , had aircon which is great and a fridge inside , has everything you need . I’ve stayed here twice now and will continue too!
In terms of better the pillows were a bit hard so maybe having more variety for the people who struggle with sleeping and the rooms are quite small but can’t do much about that not a big deal. but I knocked the edge of the bed a few times. But for what you’re paying and the location it’s everything you need . If needing a close location for just going out or having something on it’s great.
staff is very friendly, hey do their best, hey helped to meet my rquirement and made my after stay comfortable as well, hotel is clean, welcoming is good, Access to staff is east, i definetely and strongly recommend this hotel dur to its staff, Location, cleaness, order and facilities
everything was positive for me
No chair in the room
The hotel has no parking, Park at your own risk.
The location is good, and the price cheap. If you just want a place to sleep for a night or 2 in sydney and have no intention to relax at your hotel and you arent pretentious this is probably a good option for you. Otherwise dont bother
The check in process is confusing and awful. The place is disgusting and creepy.
Very basic, cheap hotel that is only suitable if you just need a bed for the night
The bed covers and linens need to be a bit better. Room could have a bedside table. The room only has a portable air-conditioner which is very noisy
Very Terrible Management, No Assistance, Nobody was there to respond to question and phone calls,Consider adding Handheld Bidet Sprayer IN YOUR TOILETS,VERY NECESSARY. Thank you
customer service/relationship was terrible...
The location was amazing
The showers were absolutely disgusting. Do not get our room service had to beg to get towels and checking in. It was a nightmare. There is no front desk. You literally gotta talk to someone through WhatsApp.
Amazing price, comfy beds, great air con, great location, easy check in.
Nothing!
Good location
Toilets and showers are not enough considering the amount of rooms there are. The Roman was ok, the very bare minimum was provide, but we had a single size doona for a queen bed, really annoying. Very noisy as a window was broken and badly fixed with plexiglass.
Location is good
Beds need upgrade,Smelly hotelRubish was sitting outside window Not recommended
