Cozy M Hostel

Front desk was nice. Cute residential area, near shopping & restaurants. Free wifi. Quiet for the most part. Free breakfast but by the time we got there everything was gone. There was a sink & mirror in our room. Not too far from train station.

The bathrooms were kind of gross. The shower water pressure was horrible. Only two showers and two toilets for the whole floor. No elevator. The lobby was small & cramped. The rooms had no A/C but the fan was okay. Could've been cleaner.

A nice and more affordable find in Sydney - we really enjoyed our stay! The room was comfortable and even had a projector. The kitchen facilities were nice and clean and also had an oven and a dishwasher which isn’t always the case so we were happy with that! Also free breakfasts in the morning were great - toast and spreads, croissants and cereals to help save some money! Staff were helpful and friendly too :)

Only that the toilet didn’t have its own sink so if someone was using the next door shower, you couldn’t wash your hands! Sinks in the rooms though but would be better to always be able to wash your hands straight away.

Very close to everything: center, opera, king’s cross, museums, shops. Very clean. They didn’t have a tv but a projector and you can log in to your Netflix and watch whatever.

The only people that the door code didn’t always work from the first time and one needs to wait until it starts working again. Also, there was only one pot of coffee for the whole clientele which disappeared in 5 minutes and then the rest of the breakfast- no coffee.

We loved the place. The bed was very comfortable and the lighting was excellent. I would especially like to highlight the cleanliness of the room and the bathrooms; the person responsible does an outstanding job. Cleanliness is very important to me, and I’m sure it is for most people as well.Unfortunately, we were not able to have breakfast because on both days of our stay we had to leave very early. Perhaps offering a quick snack option for guests who need to leave early would be a great alternative.

I liked the amenities in the room and it was very private. Easy access to bathroom

The power point near the bed (room 308) seemed to have a poor connection to charge my phone. The one near the sink worked fine

Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. Reception is only staffed 9am-4pm, making it impossible to drop off luggage before then if you have an early arrival. Also frustrating to not have anyone immediately available if you get locked out of your room.

Cozy M was in a great location only a mile from the opera house! The breakfast and beds were magnificent as well!

There is unfortunately no elevator but all is well.

Myself and my mum stayed here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff here were so accommodating, they let us check in early the day we arrived, and also the day we checked out, we left our luggage in the store room, and when we arrived back to collect bags before the airport, the staff let use the bathroom, and invited us to sit and use the sitting area at the front until we were ready to go. Property is situated on a quiet street, and is about a 5 minute drive/25 minute walk into the Sydney opera house. We thought this route was also great because we seen a good few landmarks on route from the hostel to the opera house. Very clean, we only stayed for 3 nights, and the room was cleaned during our stay. The breakfast in the morning is great too, my mum is vegetarian and she really loved how we could help ourselves, with a great selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, egg’s etc etc…

We hired a car one of the days to go up north, and when we returned to the hostel, I completely forgot about the parking etc.. so I should have researched this a little more.

The rooms were superb, everything was clean and the kitchen had enough space for everything. Plus, breakfast was included. The staff was super helpful as well.

Corridors can be a little noisy and doors tend to slam shut. However i was probably a bit grumbly getting over jet lag.

Great location, very clean and comfy room. To have breakfast included was a nice extra!

Al great Just a Microwave was a bit disgusting The turning plate need to be clean and under it it's just too much....

All good just an electrical appliances need to clean properly Deep clean so can smell good....That's in a kitchen. Area....My Room was 100 % good We loved.....

Nice place in a really great location, end of the street took you to the harbour and 15 mins from there and you were at the opera house, staff were friendly, free ear plugs and water at reception, breakfast was nice (eggs fri-sun and toast and fruits / yogurts, milk (soy and almond too) every day), didn't feel too busy nor too loud, lots of hot water, bed was really comfortable, appreciated the projector in the room and having a fridge as well as a sink. bathroom and showers cleaned everyday, great laundry facilities ($8 for a wash and a dry, which was great), communal area by the kitchen. Staff were really nice and with the location being so central and easy for buses and trains you really can't go wrong. The rooms are all clean and modern, scuffs on the walls but nothing crazy. we loved the place and will be back in a few months!

Good stay, the room was very comfortable, exceeded our expectations. Early check in was accommodated. One of the best hostels in Sydney, we will come back.

I know this was not hotel's fault, but we were woken up at 3am because two guys screaming outside, very close to our room. The receptionist was kind, but she didn't feel comfortable speaking in english, and most of our questions were not understood.
