Location

Shower leaking. Hallway very wet and soggy. Old food left in fridge. Down lights flickering.

The location is excellent.

The room was very dirty, worn, & dated. We stayed 6 nights and were told there was NO housekeeping unless we stayed a 7th night! Had to go to the desk to request toilet paper, clean towels, etc. No on-site washers/dryers or restaurant. No USB ports.

Staff are very friendly during check end, beddings are very clean and the room is clean.

-The shower in room 1108, the water doesn’t drain so as you shower the water is stagnant.- Breakfast is not good at all….- Suggestions do not book with breakfast as there are so many breakfast places outside the hotel to eat and much better.

Did not have breakfast. Location was good

Facilities were bad. No phone connection. Had to go down to reception to get things. The tap in the bathroom sink was all shaky. The mattress was stained.

The location is good, but unfortunately, will not be there again.

One light doesn’t work, stains on the bedsheets.

The staff were helpful when I had an issue with my door lock and upgraded me to another room.

As mentioned in other reviews there is some maintenance that is needed but generally happy with my choice of stay.

The staff at Central Studio Hotel Sydney (Joseph in particular) are great - very friendly and helpful. The twin beds were comfortable and the location was great - close to Central Station, the tram and Spice Alley.

We had an issue with the air conditioner constantly blowing a fuse. Joseph helped us fix it the first time, and after that we had to turn the power on and off in the switchboard box to get it started again. Would have been nice to have windows that open to allow fresh air into the room.

Excellent location. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Service was great.

A couple of glasses in the room would have been nice.

Location was convenient

The room didn't have any airflow and smelt very stale, which was made even worse when we found a cockroach in our room after a cleaning day, and had to emergency change rooms

The location to the Sydney Central Station, George Street, Paddy Market and Darling Harbour is very good and there is plenty of Restaurant within walking distance. The room price was good for the location.

After asking for a quiet room my room was right above a major intersection and even with the additional glass added to the windows there was still a good bit of noise. The room was tidy, but the Level 4 hall carpet needed changed to avoid a trip hazard.

Perfect location for the Central Railway Station and long distance bus/coach services.

Although a modern hotel, it was showing signs of 'wear & tear.'

The location is excellent - opposite Central station and near to the light rail and bus stops. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming on arrival and checkout, and always available for any assistance. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel could do with a bit of TLC. It's seen better days. A bit of paint and fresh carpet would make a difference! Staff do a great job of keeping it clean, but it gets harder when things are worn out.

Went to bed late on first night , Top Sheet was stained and dirty was not a fresh clean sheet at all !!!! ? Wasn’t sure if it was poo on sheet or food stain but looked like poo.

The divider between the balconies was completely broken, allowing direct access to the neighboring room. It felt unsafe from a security standpoint. I paid extra for a room with a balcony, so it felt like a waste.

Location was suitable, room & bed certainly okay.

The room could do with a coat of paint as the walls were in need due to occupants suitcases & general wear & tear also the carpet was shabby & threads pulled. The hallway carpets needed repair as well as vacuuming.

Great location and price and staff were super friendly

The room wasn’t very clean lots of dust behind the bedside chest where I plugged my phone into the power point there was layers of dust on the power point. The window sills needed a dust also. And the shower tiles could do with a good exit mould solution on them.

Staff were friendly. Location was very central and very convenient from the Sydney Central station

The hotel is old and has seen better days which is boring against the staff, they are trying their best with a very old hotel building. Carpets were with and old, rooms were alright but you can tell it's old.
