- Centrally located to transit and a good market and other shopping. Apartment was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Shower worked well, plenty of hot water.
Cons -
- Very worn out and not well maintained.
- Air conditioning works but vents need fixing
- We had to wash the dishes and take out the trash before leaving. I don't remember that in the rental description. No dishwasher, so I can't believe the dishes were actually clean when we arrived. I HATED the refrigerator . It was 1/2 size and so low only a 3 yr old could easily access it. I have back issues so it was painful always having to bend down. And the microwave was so high getting hot soup out of it was rather dangerous for someone 63 inches high. Terribly designed kitchen.

Easy walk across the road from train stationComfortable bed and very clean.Walking distance to supermarketQuite central position one train stop to circular Quay
I needed a budget stay after a night out and found exactly that.
Shower pressure was low and there was a funny smell in apartment. If I was travelling with family this wouldn't of worked however all stuff Im willing to deal with for the price
Great location, short distances to train, light rail, the Rocks, Bangaroo, and Circular quay.Spacious, clean, and well-maintained apartment, minimalist but sufficient for the needs of an extended stay.Small bar fridge, microwave, hotplate, (no oven) toaster, and kettle... Large screen TVPlenty of options for clothes storage.Friendly and helpful staff, especially Helen.
Fridge should be full size, Safety deposit box too low at bottom of wardrobe,Needs a compendium. Possibly other TV options.A little traffic noise but mostly from hoon drivers.
Clean and close to everything. Convenient and easily accessible from the train station.
Bottled water should be available and provided for.
Large room, great kitchen and new bathroom. Good position for our needs.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The cars speeding past made a lot of noise at night.
Walking distance to Barangaroo, ferries and train stations.
We wished to leave our bags after checking out to pick up later in the afternoon that day. The reception area closes on a Sunday at 2pm. If you have a late flight/train home you would need to have your bags with you until your departure. We found a baggage storage at the train station which made it easier for the day to do what we wanted. There was only two of us in the room and all the crockery did not match and glasses were different sizes. The cost of accommodation is no longer reasonable and I would expect the room would have matching crockery/cutlery. Also we had to put our rubbish in the bin and wash up any dishes on checking out. I know this is only a small thing but with what we paid I am sure the cleaners would be able to do this as part of the price.
Have to be honest was a little worried about staying here after reading some of past comments but…. was happily surprised!! This place was so unique. Room was basic but had everything that we needed - comfy bed, space to relax, shower was awesome. Loved the location so close to cbd, public transport & very walkable to Darling Harbor, Harbor Bridge, Opera House etc. Staff were super accommodating & friendly. Definitely stay again. ?
A couple of house keeping things - cutlery & utensils need up dating & the couch was a little low for me. These are very minor criticisms, certainly wouldn’t stop me staying again.
Reception staff were lovely - allowed us to check-in early as we were very tired after night flight
The refurbished accommodation was excellent and the price was pleasant surprise for CBD Sydney.
Limited access to cafes in the area.
Location was very good Very near restaurants and a convenience store, darling harbour and circular quay is in easy walking distance, Wynyard train station is very close by, great check out receptionist, very professional and even looked after our bags for a few hours.Based on the location and in Sydney the price was good and as such allowances need to be made that it was an average apartment but ok.
Not the cleanest in the family room area and bathroom. There were hairs still in the bathroom which is not really acceptable in today’s hotel offering Receptionist on check in didn’t listen to what she was being toldNo aircon in the bedroom so please be aware of this, only in the family roomChecking out was good as the receptionist was interested in the feedback.
Attending an expo at ICC the walk was very relaxing. Room was well appointed and more spacious than I expected or required.
Nothing I can think of.
Great location, great value and exceeded my expectations. Room included everything I needed and Helen at front desk was excellent. So kind and caring.
The kitchen. I love the induction stove. The volt was helpful. The shower is nice, dining table and living room is spacious. The hotel close to Chinatown and almost everything.
We stayed in a studio room, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and well-equipped- all the cooking utensils were provided, there was a big cupboard for clothes, and the TV worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, and the washroom was also spacious and clean. Before booking, we read that some guests found it hard to sleep at night due to road noise. Our room was beside the road, but it didn’t bother us at all. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was perfect for everything, we’d definitely stay here again!
Everyth
We stayed as a couple in a spacious studio room that had everything we needed — all cooking utensils, a large cupboard for clothes, and a well-functioning TV. The bed was very comfortable, the washroom was spacious, and the staff were kind and helpful. Despite being beside the road, it was quiet at night, and we slept well.
I've stayed here before in a larger apartment but actually preferred this little studio. It has all you need for a semi-self-catering stay. Comfy bed, black out curtains and decent shower. Well located or the city, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. For me, I wouldn't stay here for leisure, but for my work trips, it ticks all the boxes. It doesn't have early/late hours reception which is always a bit tricky, but I managed to work around it.
The smell of the garbage chute just down the hall.
Super Traffic noise with a busy highway overhead and busy road 3m from room. Impossible to sleep
