Closeness to the beach, spacious rooms, quiet, lovely common area and outdoor area at the back. Good facilities in the room.

Very old and dated building. Security was weak - no safety lock on the door, front door lock was damaged.

The location is fantastic, right next to the famous Coogee beach. The room has amazing ocean view and the vibrant beach life is just out of the window. The main bus station is a couple of hundred meters away and many bars and restaurants nearby.

The room has a strange smell. The bathroom is outdated. The basin is in a weird position that you can't use it properly, so I had to wash my face in the kitchenette. It took a long time to get hot water too.

It’s old and the shower head in the bathroom really needs to be replaced. It just drooled water with zero pressure.

Amazing location, and decently priced. The staff were very friendly, and my room was clean and regularly looked after.

It’s a bit of a ‘dive’ hotel and older building, so you can hear what is going on in the hallways and room above you. It’s simple, but everything you need.

Quite and clean and very safe

The location is excellent, right across from the beach. The room was good with a comfortable bed. WiFi works well and is secure.

It is not a hotel, more of a hostel. No registration desk, in fact no staff at all. I didn't see a single other person in my two days there. There is no car parking. Lots of steps outside and inside.

Excellent location, staff were great. Very helpful when I needed to leave my luggage for a while after checking out. The room & facilities provided everything I needed. Really enjoyed my stay in The Dive!

Absolutely nothing, sorry to say. We didn't even stay the night. It smelt really bad and I wasn't comfortable sleeping in the bed

The location couldn't be better. Just step outside and the beach is across the street, along with many restaurants to choose from. I also like the maid service, they were very thorough and helpful. Easy instructions for checking in and out. I liked that there were extra towels downstairs in case you forgot your towel in the room on the way to the beach. Excellent for solo travelers!

I stayed in a room without the sea view, kinda wish I saw the sea. But I could at least hear the water!

Bathroom is tiny and sink is difficult to use.

Location is perfect for beach and food lovers, right in the middle of the action. Hotel is fine, no more no less. Room was clean and had everything we needed, entry and reception tired, arrival instructions and comms were absolutely fine. All in all, perfectly good ?

Loved the view. People watched all afternoon. It was great. Close to everything.

Stayed for 3 days .. location is great room requires updating - brighten the room with colour make it more enjoyable.

No servicing of rooms, replacing tea bags etc, towels etc, room needs to be brighten up with colour. They need refurnishing.

i have stayed at Dive Hotel a couple of times and i love the front rooms with the big window that look out to the beach! it’s the most beautiful view. The room is a great size, bed is extremely comfortable and we had a little balcony that let us enjoy everything coogee has to offer

The receptionist was very helpful.

The room we were given was very dismal. The decor was very dismal which made it worse as the window faced a brick wall and there was hardly any light. Small metal sink in the bathroom with nowhere to put any toiletries. The room we were originally given when we first arrived was up two flights of narrow stairs and as there was no lift we had to carry up our heavy cases.

Great location. Communicative helpful staff. Left our luggage there. Clean and comfy room.Late check in no bother. Perfect for our needs, one night stay, good distance to airport.
