Location was perfect for work and close to restaurants and water

Mould in the bathroom particularly on painted wall in shower, hair in shower and on basin, Accumulated dust on wall above TV, Dirty vent in bathroom, no exhaust fan in bathroom, Room was dated.

    Close to everything

Very poor disability friendlyMy wife uses a walker to get around as she is very unsteady on her feet .. there was barely enough room for her walker in the room let alone getting around with I work all over south australia and stay in all sorts of hotel and motel accomadation and the room at the ibis was definately worse than any of them definately not worth $400 for 1 night Will never stay there again room was nithing like the pictures booking.com show when booking We feel like we have been screwed over by both them and the hotel

Location was central to city restaurant precinct. The room was well-presented and clean. Staff went out of their way to ensure our questions were answered and at no time did they avoid helping us.

Coffee provided was average. Most hotels of this standard have a better option. Parking was convenient but pricey.

the room was nicely setup. the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good hot water and pressure. The small fridge was handy beside the bed. the TV and remote worked well. Reliable hotel for a short business trip.

The staff very helpful, and the bar outside area was good.

The room was a little disappointing, not much room, had very little space to put suit case. NOT what it appeared like in pictures.

    Access to darling harbour

Queen size room booked onlineOn arrival staff member gave us an upgrade to a queen deluxe. Ended up with a pokey little room with a double bed and leaking aircon. We have stayed before in a queen room and know the difference. Feel very conned by the staff member. Did not get what we paid for. We will not be staying there again as trust has gone with this management

Location was great, close to Train station and King st Warf restaurants & Ferries.

    4KatiePosted on: 2-6-2026

    Spitting distance from work.

Room overlooked a major road and was so noisy throughout the whole night. I couldn’t sleep. Hallways smelt bad like old tobacco.

    7DaniellaPosted on: 2-4-2026

The room was compact and functional. However as I was out most of the time it was fine for just myself to sleep in and get ready for the day ahead. There was water in the lounge area. The staff were helpful and polite.I could collect my bag later in the day.

As the room was compact I am pleased I was alone as it would have been a squeeze with two.I could hear the shower and air con from other rooms.

    Proximity to Darling Harbour

The room was very small, nicely appointed but very small

    8DarlenePosted on: 2-4-2026

Size of bathroom is great and nice size shower recess, the tv is huge and on the wall directly opposite the bed. Also you get a decent iron and ironing board in the room, we stayed there to go see Matt Rife at the Icc in Darling harbour.Hotel good location and near king St wharf with lots of restaurants a few minutes walk to Darling harbour and wynyard train station.Hotel has a bar/ Cafe downstairs and lifts to the rooms

The room was smaller than I thought it would be, but it was ok, the bathroom with a good size shower was great .But could of done with a extra shelf around the si k to put some toiletries onThe bsr fridge is almost useless very tiny, with no shelf on the door for tall bottles of drink and a tiny shelf I the fridge with a huge freezer that doesn't get used.Air con went to max 26c it was still cold in the room, no carpet on the floor , just fake wooden flooring. The bed had a quilted mattress protector but the small of my back still stiff and sore. The 2 pillows you get are thin and horrible, I had to ask for a extra 2 pillows and blanket. The coffee, tea sugar and milk was not enough. We don't drink tea and we don't use equal.Need to put more sugar and coffee in the room , also the milk is a tiny long life milk carton.Plus you don't get much information on the hotel services , I would of liked to see a ingo sheet, rather than google what services there are.We also had a minor blackout on Saturday night around 11.20pm, everything just went off no idea what happened. The power came back on around 15 mins later, 1st hotel I have stayed at to have a blackout .

    Disappointing

It is next to the freeway and very load. Gym has to reception and you cannot get on Wi-fi in there. pretty poor service.

    9EunicePosted on: 2-1-2026

We booked this hotel for the price of what we could afford and the closeness to the cruise terminal and our friends who were travelling with us. The staff very helpful and friendly and loved the bonus of the carbonated water fountain available which we appreciated very much. Would definitely stay again. Also within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see.

We wouldnt say we didnt like it but the show cubicle is very small but still very serviceable for the price we paid.
