Great location, just next to the Botanical Gardens and short walk to Circular Quai and main Museums

Outside was untidy, and did not represent the cleanliness of the hotel. A bit noisy one night as there was a wedding happening downstairs, luckily it finished before 10PM.

Location, quirky integration of original wharf building with modern hotel. Lovely rooms and great breakfast!

Loved the location and look of the property. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. We arrived very tired from an early flight from New Zealand and they let us check in on arrival. I would definitely come back and would recommend to friends.

Large rooms, slightly quirky design due to its history. Nice location on the waterfront and very close to Botanic Gardens. Although close at 8pm so difficult to walk back.

Initial room was very hot but we were moved to a nicer room with better air con. Lighting could be better.

The property was very unique and nicely located for walking around the Sydney Harbor area. Staff was generally very responsive and helpful. Room was very comfortable.

Bathroom sink area was a little small as there was no place to put your own toiletries or place your clothes while showering.

Definitely not 5 star standard any more. Room was dirty, tv didn't work, phone didn't work, curtain didn't close, couch was stained and dirty. The staff were friendly and showed me two other rooms as an alternative but neither the tv or phone were working in those either, and both were dirty too. Decided to check out and got full refund from booking.com

Excellent hotel to stay in , one of the best we have stayed in while travelling for 5 weeks in Australia From the minute we arrived, the staff where all so informative and friendly, and this extended all the way through to the breakfast restaurant, were we were welcomed every morning with a smile , to a fantastic breakfast

Location. Fantastic building.

Bar staff were pretty slow and inexperienced. Need to learn how to poor a beer properly. Too much focus on cocktails. Blockout blinds didn’t work. Couldn’t call reception for the phone was out of charge. (Only small issues)

Right on the former Wharf overlooking the harbour and within walking distance to the main attractions in Sydney. Also fabulous short connections to all public transportation. Breakfast was lovely and honestly, there was everything for everyone, regardless of the cultural background. Friendliness and Australian lifestyle at its best. We had a large room with a loft for sleeping and loved it.

We liked what we had and for sure there is nothing to complain. We picked the right hotel for our needs and were extremely happy with our choice.

The hotel has clearly gone through a cost cutting program. We used to stay there often - free mini-bar, welcome pack, great breakfasts, etc. All gone. Blocked sink in the bathroom.

Function downstairs one night until 3am and with no notice. Tried to book dinner at local restaurant one night and reception said nothing available. Went to restaurant and good table with ring 30 min. Room a bit smelly

Absolutely loved the size of the room. Huge comfy bed, space for clothes and even a bath which I really enjoyed! Felt like a luxurious experience. Loved the location for getting around Sydney, great running spot to go to the Opera house and very easy to access main sites of Sydney (CBD, Opera House, ferries, easy to get to beaches too).Really liked the gym too. Didn't order any food here

Hot! Air conditioning struggling to get under 25 degrees all night in room. A few quirks in the room such as drawer that wouldn’t close.
