Space Q Capsule Hotel

Loved the concept, one of the best I've seen.

Didn't appreciate being told when complaining (upon my personal safety being compromised) that he "deals with people like Kendall the time) I told him he may get people complaining all the time (no doubt!) but he's never met anyone like myself I can assure him. Never seen anything like the black mould in my entire life.

The capsules were cosy and the facilities worked well, good for anyone looking for a cheap stopover, the staff were friendly.

Felt run down, the interior was dark and lots of lights not working or flickering, the bathroom spaces were tiny and needed more maintenance.

Toilets were not clean and facilities were smelly. Parts inside pods were broken or were not working properly.

Have stayed here many times before - excellent location near transport and can walk everywhere from here also.Capsules are private.

For the same level price you get much more privacy than in a hostel. The staff is friendly. The hygiene is good, most areas are cleaned daily. The location is very convenient.

There’s no dryer in the laundry room and you have to go to the bank or arcade across the street to get coins.

The only positive thing about this place is the location.

From the moment I've entered the place I felt uncomfortable: - the entrance hall was hot- the rooms were hot and sticky- the capsule / bed was small, it didn't have an AC but a small tiny fan which was noisy and didn't really blow any air around. One had to keep the door open because of the bad air quality- the bed wasn't sound proof or anything, which means you get woken up by drunk party people coming home at 3am- the mattress was thing and uncomfortable- the bathrooms were smelly - the toilets were not clean... it's like a very dirty hostel. I was very disappointed and cannot recommend this place.

Location near the airport train, same train line takes you to Sydney opera house bay. It was a cost effective stay compared to other places I saw online, which is why you are looking to book here.

It didn’t feel secure, I believe the electronic locks are over rideable when unplugged, the dorm room didn’t require a key. Also evidence of long term residents. So I kept my bag with meNo duvet cover, not sure if that was normal The warnings of stolen valuables won’t be compensated didn’t breed confidence in leaving any of my items unattended. The front desk wasn’t attended all the time. No cutlery, and someone watched the movie where they land on an asteroid and drill down to nuke it and just before they were going to nuke the asteroid he changed to a new film. But the game room area was very nice The capsule broke in the night and it beeped until someone else pulled out the electrical cable, so it had no ventilation for the rest of the night. The showers were a little tight.

I’m not one to usually write reviews on places but I feel like I need to be a hero rn. This place was quite awful. Place reeks of everything bad. Me and my mate were given lockers, both of which were completely broken. Facilities were unusable with leaky pipes that have soaked the ground. Beds and pillows are paper thin and the capsules were so damn hot even with the terrible fan system on full. I was low key considering sleeping on a park bench. The power points in the capsules don’t work either. I hate to be so negative about a place because I’m not usually fussy with this sort of stuff but I feel this sort of thing needs to be mentioned to make sure others won’t make the same mistake I did, or the management starts working on the long list of things to fix to make the place somewhat liveable. I booked 2 nights but left first thing after the first night and booked someplace else.

The overall concept of the capsule hotel is amazing and has used potential for further opportunities. The kitchenette laundry facilities the two common areas were all great additions to this capsule hotel.

Overall cleanliness was very average, toilets and showers were not great hygienically and very cramped spaces. The lift also had a very weird smell and the open chipboard was not a great design aspect.The lack of air conditioning or ventilation in the capsules is very concerning. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable sleeping in the mattress as it is very thin.

Love the location & proximity to public transport. And plenty of food outlets. Sleeping quarters clean & functional.

Bit difficult to brush & rinse one's teeth due to low position of the liquid soap container above each hand basin.

Good location, easy access to public transport and close to shopping and food.

Air-conditioning was not working, toilets and showers were not clean.

The capsule itself was alright.

I had a staff member knock on my capsule door at 12.30 at night after I just... returned from the bathroom, wanting to know who I was because I apparently wasn't showing up on their booking system. After showing her my booking reservation she said oh okay. However, this interaction woke me up fully & I couldn't get back to sleep & it ruined my last night there.

The location is well located close to central station and the cbd.

The facility is in desperate need for better cleaning, refurbishing, and working facilities. The bathrooms are tiny, with the shower having tiles lifting. Lockers work sporadically and required a call to the late night number for assistance. The pods sometimes require a few attempts to unlock as well. The bottom level has a strong smell of chlorine and the bathrooms and toilets could use extra focus on cleaning. The locks on any of the doors didn’t work either, and was told it was fine because of the “security cameras”. There’s no one to answer the land line, and no where does it day reception opens at 10:30am. Even messaging the location on here got no response. Definitely save your money and go somewhere else, there are better hostels/pod options around.

This time I got blanket that smelly and the air con turned very high and no remote control to reduce it. The light some were not working and I saw some strains on the bed and the frame.

Dirty facilities, broken chargers, chlorine stench.

The pod itself was good. Spacious for what it was, and clean.

Like other reviews mentioned, the bathrooms are very tiny and cramped, and the shower cells have see-through doors. I ended up not using them as it as claustrophobic and dirty. Water and dirt on the floor.

It was very unsocial. It smelt awful. Bathrooms were gross.

The bedroom smelled musty, and the bathroom was small.
