In 40 acres of gardens and woodland, Grims Dyke Hotel offers rooms with free WiFi, just 10 minutes’ drive outside Watford. The elegant restaurant uses produce from the hotel gardens. With a TV, tea and coffee and a seating area, each room also has classic décor. Period-style rooms are set in the main house, while more modern options are offered in the garden lodge. Guests can also benefit from the use of a computer available in reception. Award-winning Gilbert's Restaurant serves a fresh, seasonal menu. Guests dine in surroundings including a magnificent inglenook fireplace and views of the croquet lawn and rose garden. Grade II Listed Grim's Dyke Hotel features a grand entrance hall and traditional Library Bar, with a huge fireplace. This is where Sir William Gilbert, of Gilbert and Sullivan, wrote many of his most famous works. The Harry Potter Studio Tour London is just 9 miles away and 20 minutes by car. This country house hotel is 7 miles from Wembley Stadium. Only a 10-minute drive away is Grim's Dyke Golf Club, with a picturesque parkland course.

Cons -
- I was charged for the broken safe, which was made partially by plastic and was broken before...
- Bit seedy and rundown .. very much in need of renovation
- On checkout I was lied to Told me no payment was taken from credit card Paid bill in full. When i returned home I check Credit Card account and found ââÂÂ---- taken which I was informed by hotel could take up to 5 working days to refund. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
