Rygerfjord Hotel & Hostel is housed in 3 ships anchored at the southern shore of Lake Mälaren in Stockholm. It offers free WiFi and cabin-style rooms with city and lake views. At Rygerfjord Hotel & Hostel, guests can choose rooms with either private or shared bathrooms, that are spread over 3 boats. Guests also have access to shared kitchen facilities. Bed linen and towels are included. In our cozy restaurang can you enjoy Thai food with glass of wine or beer in combination with wonderful view over the City Hall. Relaxation options include a guest lounge with a large flat-screen TV and comfortable leather armchairs. A free internet computer is found in the lobby. Both Stockholm’s Old Town and the trendy Södermalm district are within a 10-minute walk from the ship.

- Location and atmosphere.
- Location, helpful staff, view from the deck, breakfast buffet, comfortable bed, being on a boat!
Cons -
- One of the restrooms had a strong sewage smell that permeated the hall, which might have been due to the unusually high temperatures. Shower also drained poorly which led to standing water.
- Tiny, tiny room with extremely low ceiling! The furniture in the common area was quite tattered. Our room faced the street and was very noisy. That said, it was worth the price due to location and unique experience!
