Hotel Amerika

The room was really nice. Well designed and with a very modern bathroom. Sleeping in a mezzanine was quite cool too.

Low attention from personnel. I'm not sure if that's always the case as there was a heavy storm during our stay so they might have been understaffed because of it.

Lovely small hotel. Location right in town. Great bike storage with plug for EVbikes. Lovely quiet garden courtyard. Lovely breakfast. Just be aware that room 1, a king superior room, is lofted and many stairs up to the bed. We loved it but not good for a person with mobility problems.Has a restaurant attached but closed the day we were there.

Clean and comfortable hotel, spacious room and bathroom, breakfast has plenty of options. Various restaurants in de neighbourhood. Staff friendly and helpful.

Just too expensive 130 a night for a simple room. Breakfast was very good but that’s it. Fletcher is half the price and better.

It’s in such a wonderful location & facilities are amazing

Not being made aware that one of our rooms was not in hotel itself with lift access.. the room was lovely, but it was lucky that out of our 4 rooms 1 of them could access without the lift otherwise we wouldn’t struggled.

Really good location for getting around. Lovely spacious room and good options for breakfast. There were 2 supermarkets close by and the the train station was literally across the road which made it easy getting into Rotterdam. There was free parking close by as well. The beach was a few minutes drive from the hotel, with several beach bars and restaurants. The bar next to the hotel opens late so we could have a drink before returning to the hotel on Saturday night.

Nicely located at the end of a very long bike trip. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.

Very warm bed room, where the ventilator does not create relieve and there is too much noise outside to leave the windows open.

Very good hotel, beautiful room and the beds are excellent. The garden/patio is very nice.

The bar/lounge was closed.

Breakfast was bustling with other guests chatting across tables to each other, staff helped me with tv remote immediately, view a little dull.

We have stayed here before and thought we knew what to expect. This is a modern hotel in the lovely town of Hoek and the hotel is convenient for the ferry. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The hotel was happy to look after our suitcase while we visited the beach.

I can't help wondering if the hotel has new owners from our previous visit because the welcome was brusque - verging on the unfriendly plus the hotel restaurant is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.The room we were allocated was accessed from the street, up extremely steep & narrow stairs - which my disabled wife had a great deal of trouble with (but didn't want to cause a fuss over). It's disappointing that breakfast is only available until 9.15am - this prevents a relaxing start to the day.

The hotelWas exceptionally clean , modern and features an amazing and included breakfast. The hotelStaff was extremely accommodating. The room was comfortable with drapes that’s allowed a sleep-in atmosphere. We hopeThat our paths cross again with Hotel Amerika.

I was slightly late for breakfast and the kind waiter still allowed me an excellent full breakfast.

The bistro restaurant closed very early in the evening, otherwise I would have eaten there.

Great location, lovely building and all areas done out beautifully. Large room, comfy beds.

No facilities open Mon or Tue which was disappointing.

A renovated hotel full of character ( including one or two quirky features), beautifully situated and offering a very good breakfast.The pre-arrival information led me to expect an unstaffed check-in (it being Tuesday) but happily there was a helpful human being there to greet me.

The pre-payment arrangements were unique in my Booking.com experience and a little bit over-complicated. That's the only negative aspect I can think of, maybe not a big deal if (unlike me) you enjoy technology for its own sake.

The staff were really great.Although we arrived late, they kept the kitchen open and served us an excellent meal

Nothing to dislike

Decent hotel in a building which has a century of history. If you come by car you can leave your vehicle nearby on the street for free. The breakfast was good, the rooms were spacious and clean. There are multiple restaurants available in walking distance from the hotel.

This is not Hotel Amerika's fault but acomodation in the Netherlands in general is ridiculously overpriced.
