Located in the center of Naples, the Ideal is just opposite Piazza Garibaldi Train Station and 164 feet from a metro stop of brand-new Metro line 1. This family-run hotel offers rooms with attached bathroom. Ideal City Walk occupies 2 floors of a renovated 20th-century building. All air-conditioned rooms are decorated in warm colors with soft lighting, and each provides a TV. Some units offer a balcony. A continental breakfast is served daily, and includes freshly baked pastries and cappuccino coffee. The on-site restaurant offers an extensive wine list. The bar on the first floor is open between 19:30 and 00:00. The hotel is 1.2 mi from the port, where ferries leave for Sicily and the Eolian Islands. Capodichino Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

- Central location, friendly staff and good breakfast
- Clean appearance. Extremely close to Napoli Centrale Train Station and the Garibaldi Metro Station.
- The location is good, a few steps from the main train station and subway, in the center of the city, near to the historical center, you can go walking. The staff helped me to make a phone call to my credit card operator which don't accept cell phone calls
Cons -
- Great value budget hotel, very clean, friendly staff, great location.
- No elevator. One of the rooms had horrible sewer smell. No WiFi in rooms. Cars do not come in front of the hotel. Ikea furniture. No good places to eat nearby.
- There are no lift and nobody to carry your luggage to the 1st or 2nd floor, bedrooms near to the bar are noise and those far for the bar have no internet. The shower floods all the bathroom and maybe your bedroom. Poor breakfast. The bed springs are bad.
