This hotel is a short walk from the center of the city and Reykjavik's main shopping street, Laugavegur. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi access and 24-hour free tea and coffee. Hotel Orkin's guest rooms have a TV and a bathroom with a shower. Ironing facilities are in the hallway. Guests can use the Orkin's TV lounge and 2 communal sitting areas. Facilities for children include a play room and ping-pong table. Hotel Orkin has both a free internet computer station and a free Wi-Fi connection throughout the building. Breakfast is served each morning in the lounge room. Orkin's express check-in and check-out service might benefit those traveling early to Keflavik International Airport, which is a 45 minute drive from the hotel.

- The customer service! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful My granddaughter lost her passport the day before we were scheduled to leave. The woman staff member who was behind the desk drove us to a location for help after her shift was over.
- Great staff, convenient location, breakfast buffet
- Close to the main highway, easy parking on location, couple of restaurants nearby. Free breakfast included. A large grocery store nearby.
Cons -
- The elevator was a little sensitive.
- This is an Iceland thing, not related to the hotel, but the water smells like sulfur. Would have been nice if the hotel provided free bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth. I assume the water is safe to drink, but the smell is a big turnoff.
