- It was unususal in a good way and very clean
- Great location at the edge of the historic center, with a view overlooking the river and Pont Neuf. Friendly staff, although English was hard to come by. Artsy-cool, comfortable decor and homey, boutique vibe.

- Our room was significantly smaller than the rooms pictured, and we did not have any of the interesting artwork in the room. But the people were nice and the overall feel of the hotel was interesting and pleasant.
- Creaky, warped stairs and micro-sized elevator. Bathroom door was a sliding screen that offered no real privacy or separation from the bedroom. A nice place, but didn't live up to its four-star rating.
- Smallish rooms, no fixed shower head
