- Not much.
Cons -
- Pleasent familly atmosfere
- The hotel made a mistake on my check in date and when I arrived late, I had no heating and no hot water to take a shower. I sent an SMS and both were restored in the morning although the room was cold as a result. When I mentioned it to the lady owner, she acknowledged that she made a mistake but did not offer anything compensation whatsoever. This really surprised me because if I was running a hotel and made such a big mistake, I would make sure my customer feels cared about, especially that this was the second time I returned to the same hotel. I may not come back a third time.
- Back home., I liked to stay more days.

It's near the Basilica of Ours Lady de Lourdes .The owner is friendly .

Nice owner and really close to things you need to go for
Heating system kept turning off - tried to fix but kept playing up
Terrible expérience! Évitez un mauvais hébergement et choisissez un autre hôtel, il y en a beaucoup dans la région.Terrible experience! Avoid bad accommodation and go to another hotel; there are plenty in the area.
The first floor where I stayed has humidity issues and is unfinished. Additionally, the behavior of one of the staff members was rude and unprofessional. Other floors might be better, but my experience was disappointing. I had a reservation for 3 nights and had to leave after the first night because I started feeling unwell with a sore throat from the moldy smell. She grabbed my arm tightly to stop me for leaving as she realized I was paying the night. Terrible experience.
We came around 10 at night the whole place are quiet and dark we have a poor signal to call the concierge to let us in, our rooms are cold but in fairness the staff are very friendly and nice very accommodating ?
They know that 13 people are coming they shouldn’t turned off the heater..
Very clean and comfortable and very near Grotto. Breakfast is very good eapecialy the coffee.
No staff available in reception all the time.
Location, affordable at the last minute.
Shower broken. The carpet is a bit sticky. Hurried (twice) to vacate room by 10am despite a sign in the room saying to vacate by 10.30am.
The lady at the reception was very help
On the last day the bathroom ceiling was leaking, and there was no fan or ac which reduced the air circulation,
I like tje location , where we can easily get everything we need and specially to the grotto. And regarding the breakfast i wud suggest an boiled or fried will be a complete breakfast, but anyhow it was good.
Everything was good
The host was very friendly , the room was clean and also the location is great
The bathroom did not have a door
Everything was good, property neat though it's an old building.
As a tall person the shower was too tight. That's Only downside.
I recently stayed at Chalet Saint Louis in Lourdes, and it was an exceptional experience. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, close to all the main attractions yet peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was worth every penny, and I highly recommend Chalet Saint Louis for a delightful stay in Lourdes.
Room,location and staff
Room was clean as were the facilities. Small balcony. The 5€ breakfast was satisfactory. I don't want a large one.Centrally located.
I didn't have breakfast.
There was no internet www.when i wanted to pay withVisa.they wanted cash i didn't have on me. The man got aggressive he had no English yoused phone put it up very close to my face. He ask me to leave, I had gone to the machine for money to pay so he he stoped. I paid. There was no tea no fork knife or spoons
The location was superb being an easy walk to the Sanctuary and restaurants. Free parking outside the hotel. The hotel had a liftm. It had a dining room. Breakfast was available.
Small room on the second floor. Double bed. Plastic backed, non breathable bottom sheet puckered and was generally uncomfortable. Shower was small with a hand held (no bracket to hang it from and there was only a shower curtain. Breakfast appeared to be only a croissant, a roll and coffee from an urn for 5 euro. We did not bother as my wife is gluten intolerant. We arrived around 2pm and found no one there. Check in was unusual, being done purely by phone in reception and finding the key hanging on the wall.
-It was close to the centre.-Kettle and microwave are in the dining room . Easily accessible. (You have bring your own mug/cup.)
-Not really safe. People could just go in and out unnoticeably. No one was around. Note: Room keys were left in the hallway when one is out.-Hot water shower runs out while showering.-Ensuite door opens ~ 30 cm only. You have to squeeze yourself to get thru.-Not safe for older people as you had to climb into the bathtub to shower.Note: There are no shower screens/curtains, as such one had to be very careful not to splash water all around the ensuite and slip when getting out of the bathtub.-The person in charge was good but could not understand English. It was a struggle to communicate with her when raising an issue, she got upset and lost her control ???…
Quick 6 minutes walk from Lourdes Train Station. About 10 minutes walk to the Sanctuary. Room was compact and there was an elevator. Small electric heater too. There was a tv which I did not use. An electric kettle would have been more useful.
No one was around when I arrived at around 645pm. Rang the bell few times still no one came. I informed the host about my arrival by train by email few days before. Some instructions in French only on the reception counter. Eventually I used the phone and host just gave instructions where to collect room key. Did not see her till following morning.
The staff are friendly. It is a cozy place and it is a good value for money.Near the city centre and restaurants. There is always hot water for shower and the room is always warm in cold weather. The cleaner comes on daily basis to clean up the room.
It is not close to the sanctuary as it is mentioned.Around 16 mins walking to the main gate of the sanctuary in the front. So if you are staying for more than one night and you need to go and come back several times to the hotel to rest during the day, it is far and not comfortable. The mattress is not comfortable and it kept on sliding to one side all night. The communication in English was a little bit difficult. It has no tissues or water in the room. But this is maybe because of the very much affordable price of the room…
