Hôtel Sainte Marie

Booked this place for my parents. The staff — with a special shout-out to Christina — were extremely helpful and attentive to all their needs. The location and breakfast were excellent as well. Highly recommended

This is a very simple hotel I think designed more for tour bus visitors. Our room had two double beds that were not terribly comfortable but doable.It’s a very old hotel, but that’s OK. I enjoyed it very much.

No hot pot in the room, although I was able to get one from the kitchen.

The Hotel is very quiet as it is off-centre, yet it is very close to everything. The rooms are super clean. Madame Christine goes out of her way to make everyone happy. I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lourdes and if I travel again to Lourdes I will stay there.

The properties is in the perfect location to walk to the sanctuary. It is very clean, comfortable. Christine is welcoming, friendly, and helpful

Everything was perfect, the location, Christina the owner of the hotel is very nice lady she is helpful, very kind and answered all our requests.Everything in the room clean and very good.WiFi available.I recommend this hotel for any one wants to visit Lourdes.

Nothing at all.

Plenty to like, from the welcoming host to the cleanliness, character and above all, the location. Right where you need to be to explore all the delights of Lourdes. Very handy paid parking out front of hotel. Excellent breakfast and reasonable prices for that and the accommodation. Staff wonderful.

Excellent customer service by the host Christine. She arranged for my cab to the station. Very lively, welcoming and a wonderful personality. The room was cleant everyday and towels changed. Very clean place. Hope to stay here next time too. Breakfast was amazing too.

Excellent location, very close to the sanctuary and amenities. Christina gave a very warm welcome and was extremely helpful when plans suddenly changed due to the national strike.

View from Balcony is best during our stay. Shower water stream is ok, would be better if a bit strong.

Christine was wonderful, so kind and helpful. The hotel was very convenient to the Lourdes Sanctuary. Exceptionally clean and great location. I would definitely recommend Hotel Saints Marie.

Hotel Sainte Marie is conveniently located near the St. Michel gate of the Lourdes sanctuary making it easy to go back and forth during the day. It is about 20 minutes from the train station in foot but a bus can be taken as an alternative.

The only thing that we think can be improved is having a shower curtain installed instead of using towels to dry the floor because one side of the shower is open.

Christine is very friendly and she makes you feel at home. Breakfast was also very delicious. The location is superb!

Comfortable, clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose Lourdes as it was a great location for some of the Tour de France stages. Hotel is a bit dated, but that wasn't a problem.

The owners were lovely, the beds are comfortable.

It’s a sensitive hotel. Because it’s a hotel with wooden features (floor, walls, etc), any small noise made at night can be heard all over. We participated in the 9 PM rosary and arrived a little late. The guest beside our room complained about the noise (normal walking, doors, etc). The next day we were told to at least tip-toe. If you’re the traveler who likes to sleep early, this the hotel for you. But if you like to spend time at night, kindly consider it again.

Clean, comfortable and easily accessible

The hotel was lovely, right next to the river and a short stroll to nice restaurants and all the facilities. The lady in charge was super helpful providing us with extra bread, ham and cheese to make sandwiches for our lunches. Breakfast was traditional French style. The room was very comfortable with good aircon and wi-fi. It was everything we hoped for.

The location was in close proximity to the main church. The woman who worked at reception during the day was lovely. Great view of the water falls.

I encountered a fly invasion at night as I left the light on. I thought the window was closed but many of them still managed to get in and kind of freaked me out. The second night was fine. The night staff was not very helpful at all.
