Hotel Florence

It’s an older hotel, we had two single beds which was as we chose. It was a small room but the bathroom was of a decent size. There was no fridge which I can’t remember if this was stated on the booking or not and probably not an issue for most people but we had some supplies with us that needed refrigeration. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived I was worried as for some reason on the maps app it said hotel Florence was permanently closed and when we arrived it was locked but I had been communicating with the friendly staff so it was only a moment of worry. I let the staff know we were there and they very quickly came to open the door and greet us.

Perhaps something only a privileged person would say and there is worse going on in the world right now but it is an old hotel so some renovations wouldn’t go astray. But it was very cheap and booked last minute so not really a complaint to make here.

Location- Ambiance of the room. The heat was on when I arrived. It was very comfortable as it had been raining heavy on arrival. The bedside light was lit and made a warm entrance to my room

The vending machine was near empty

It’s very very clean and very comfortable! The location is very good. The stuff is helpful once you can find them. They also let us in before check in time.

There was no soap in the room, only shampoo, so it served. No Wi-Fi in the room, only somewhere in some rooms. Nobody at reception

The girl who welcomed us at the reception is very sweet. The rooms are very nice. The hotel is very close to the Santuary of Lourdes. And not too far from the train station.

Good location, good value for money and staff that spoke English well! Very knowledgeable as well about Lourdes.

Everything is good. . Best hotel if visiting Lourdes Sanctuary. It's close to the Lourdes Sanctuary, just 10 minutes by easy walk downhill. Paid Breakfast is excellent and Value for money. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious and bright. Bed Sheets and Towels are changed daily. Quiet location. Highly recommended.

Very Quiet and by the road, easy access towards shops and sanctuary also from gare SNCF terminal.

The road from sanctuary to the hotel is uphill. Caution to those who have walking and breathing difficulties. Although there is a street lift available but only from 8am-8pm.

Really like everything here, I stayed for 4 nights, it was nice, clean, 10 min by walking from railway station and 10 min to Grotte Clean (excellent!) + cleaning every morning AMAZING, HELPFUL and FRIENDLY STUFF, they really made positive impression It was warm there, you can adjust heaters as you want Price was really good at that season (end of November), 37 euro per night instead of usual 49-55

Everything was amazing

The property is safe. A quiet place to stay.

No restaurant available nearby. You have to walk like 15 minutes just to eat. Quite a problem when it is super cold and raining.

Once I figured out where we were, the location is good!

There was no one at the reception when we got there after 8pm. The phone number left at the desk to contact was not working. We couldn’t figure out how to check in. I had to dig up my booking information from booking.com. The lady I spoke to on the phone informed me my room number and directed me where to get the keys. Also, there were bugs crawling on the ceiling!!! There were no cups in the bathroom but then they put the cups the next morning.

QuietWarmBig Windows

Very helpful staff, we were travelling by bicycle and we got a bigger room so we could easily accommodate our bike in it. The lift is huge and we reached our room without any trouble. The room itself was very clean, with simple furniture, but comfortable. Great for the value.

Unfortunately, the hotel faces a busy road, pretty noisy (at least in summer when you want to keep windows open). Apart from that, no complaints.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Best price for this level of service. Location is about ten minutes away from Grote Massabielle.

Air condition would be useful in hot summer months.

Great location No staff were available to check in

Beddings had hair strands from previous occupants, towels smelled differently, however they were cleanNo air conditioning, had to open windows wide open for ventilation

- Location is good, 10 mins away from train/bus station- Room is decent size and has cupboards and table with chair- Room was done every day and toiletries changed but not sheets- Clean towels- fair price

- a bit noisy from other rooms- drapes a bit outdated- shower worked well but drain didn't. Same for the sink. Kept getting clogged up- could open the window too much as neighbours across the road were looking into my room.-nobody at the reception when I arrived. it was raining, I had no roaming and had to pay to call the lady to come and check me in

It took a while to find the reception staff and pay! Desk was constantly unattended. No issue for my end tho.

It is so close to the Church, it was so clean.The personal so nice, respectful. Thank you for everything

The restaurant it is outside, although I have to say that before the booking they say it. But it would be nice to have a restaurant.

In simple words superb hotel to stay , location, cleanliness , service, staff everything.

Fair.

Hotel was locked when we arrived at 10pm at night. Luckily, some guest was going outside for a smoke. So we got in as no receptionist was there. But keys were left there for us to collect it. Friend who came with us, told us that hotel demanded payment even though we already paid it via booking com. She had to fight the reception hard over that bill. We showed him and her re booking receipt. We had to wait it for some time as they had to check it for themselves. They never apologised for their mistake or never said 'sorry'. That's my friend view as reception was left unattended or empty most of the time. We had to explain the incoming guest same situation we found ourselves in as them. They understood as they collected the keys instead. It was only after that we decided to not go for breakfast at their hotel over their demand and went out instead. To be honest, we wouldn't go back there for few reasons such demand for another payment, very hilly climb as its easy to get lost re location,bed was hard. Receptionist guy had very little English, no French just Italian.

Great location, helpful staff, close to many delicious restaurant, the metro just next door, 10 minutes walk to Pere la Chaise where August Comte - Piere Bourdieu - Merleau Ponty - and James Morrison are burried.Very safe place to stay in Paris with affordable budget.
