The hosts are fabulous, accommodating, love their work and their charming hotel. Super helpful in advising about getting about town ("follow the light blue line!"), day or night

I was in town during the Tour de France's visit, much excitement. Would have preferred an interior room not on street. But, hey! The whole town is excited! Not a big deal. I will absolutely come back

The owners were very kind, accomodating and helpful. It is very close to the train station.

There is no a/c but they did have a fan.

The owner is lovely and was attentive to our requests!

The room is quite small and very basic, but you see it in the description.

Lovely convenient place to the train station & Lourdes church.

Heating was not working in the room and we were really cold.

The property is very close to the train station making it easy to navigate with suitcases. The house keep lady was very accommodating and went above and beyond to assist. Whilst there is no room iron she kindly ironed my items I would wear marking my visit to the holy grotto.

Remember tho close the window at night due to the noise - overall very positive for the cost

Location as it was in between the train station and the Grotto. Plus the hotel had a lift.

    Not much with the toiletries.

The gentleman on reception even stopped the traffic so I could park next to the hotel. Lady gave my wife ice to helps swollen eye. The main attractions are only 7 minutes slow walk. Great venue.nothing

Hotel Acropolus was just what we needed after a long journey. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and warm.

    Double charged

I've been charged twice. Still waiting for refund. According to booking.com I will pay the property upon arrival but booking. Com has already charged me. So double pay been taken.

Firstly, the perfect location. Less than 10 mins walk to / from the train station, which is where the airport bus also stops. And perfectly situated for the main Groto pathway. I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile by the owner and that personal touch remained all the way through. She is hard working, attentive and diligent. Like all of the hotel, the bedroom was spotless, mine had a comfortable double sizes bed, TV with a bath/shower - and clean linen each day.The breakfast was a feast. Fresh baguette, cheeses, jams , boiled egg (and various meats for those that do), pastries and proper fresh coffee! I can not fault this small, humble, private & family run hotel. Thank you.

The breakfast was good each morning.

The main complaint I have is a lack of customer service by the owner (primarily the husband). He was rude and unfriendly. The wife who really runs the hotel does everything herself…cleans, cooks, runs the front desk, etc… They do not have any other employees. The hotel room was fine after we requested the sheets be changed on one bed because there was hair on the sheets. No A/C, which is not uncommon, and there was a fan in the closet. I would not stay at this hotel again.

    I was happy with everything.

    Not very pleasant

Staff were not friendly, they did check every time we go to the hotel and did not allow any food items into our room. Our children was frighten the way she was telling her condition in the hotel. Overall not happy at all

    3RiannePosted on: 7-16-2023

Location is nearby the stationBreakfast was good: croissant, baguette, yoghert, fresh fruit and refill of coffee. Room itself was fine for a night and was as said on the discription. The man at the check-in desk was very friendly. With this I would have given a solid 8.

That said the check-out wasn't great. The man at the check-in desk said check-out was 11u and a sign at the reception said that as well. (photo inclosed)At 10u a lady not so friendly bounced at the door that I should have left already. I tried to explain the information I got with the check-in but that didn't matter. It was a very onpleasant encounter. (filled a complain about it).

Location was great walking distance to all activities and attractions . Comfortable beds , rooms clean but basic

No restaurant/bar facilities due to lack of staffing . Had booked for 3 in triple room , gave a days notice prior to travel one person was sick and unable to travel , asked for booking to be changed to 2 , room was changed but price for booking was not adjusted , I felt this was unfair maybe charge for one night if needed but not for three especially because of the reduced facilities
