Pros +
- It’s location
- The receptionist was lovely and spoke to us in a mixture of spanish, italian, and french which I loved. She told us a little bit of history about the hotel itself and the story behind the elevator. Only stayed for one night but for the price it was perfect and it was more than enough to explore and enjoy ourselves in Lourdes.
- Room is perfectly clean and big , Staffs are so friendly Price also very affordable We stayed about 3 nights with children 5 minutes from the train station And 8 mins from the sanctuary We are enjoy a lot Thank you for your service ?
Cons -
- It had bedbugs. I was bitten very badly
- It is a convenient location for the train station but about a 20min walk to the sanctuary.
- The access to the garage is limited, but on a specific occasion I needed to arrive later than opening hours, they were happy to open to us after hours. The deco is a bit dated, but nothing that would put me off.

This was my second time staying there. It's a former convent with a nice athmosphere.
It is a convenient location for the train station but about a 20min walk to the sanctuary.
The Location is very handy. It is a family owned business and it is run by them, which makes the ambient nicer. Lena is very knowledgeable about the religious activities and their schedules and gives nice insights on what to do and when. Antoine on the other hand was very good indicating activities for kids and of general interest. Both were very accommodating and provide full support when and as required. They were very kind to my kids and family members too.Good price.

It was a 10 minute walk to the shrine.
There wasn't anything to like about the room. The bed covers were not clean. Had holes in them. Had to use the same damp towels for 3 nights. The curtains were not clean either. Never saw the owner or staff except when we checked in. The rooms need upgrading. Wouldn't go there again.
We were really happy to stay here for 1 night. The room was spacious and clean. the beds were super comfy and location right in the centre of everything
everything was gfreat. Thank you
Lovely family-run hotel in a handy location close to the train station and the town. Comfy beds, neat and clean rooms. Friendly and responsive staff. They provided a place to store our bags after check-out so we could explore the area a little more before departing.
Very friendly staff Nice berkfast.
Bit dam place smell of
Great location Hotel was dated but the staff was lovely and friendly and very helpful
The beds need to be upgraded
The hotel is straightforward, however, it's a good location from there to the sanctuary. The staff doesn't speak English and our communication was a bit hard. But staying for a short time's ok for the price.
The room was a bit cold.
This hotel building premises is very historical. With St.Bernadette of Lourdes. It used to be the convent where St.Bernadette lived before moved to Nerves town in France ?? after the apparition of mother Mary. And as a small child where St. Bernadette had her nursery education at this convent school. All the historical evidence still visible up to today. Even the mother may statue where St.Bernadette used to pray still stands at this hotel premises.
Dreadful hotel. Obtained bed bugs.
*After only one night, my daughter obtained over 400 bed bug bites. Hotel staff did not apologise. * carpets were filthy* bedroom had huge cobwebs * plastic concertina bathroom door was broken and would not close. * the lift was tiny and very claustrophobic. * the hotel is 36 steps up from the main street level which we were not aware of from the description.
The lady was lovely, the property is in need of repair. Beds were clean everything else gave me the creeps.
In need of repair and very very old, bathroom was nasty.
friendly welcome/ stafflocation
stained carpets on corridors!
It was a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
All the hills you had to climb to get back! Lol
The hotel has a brilliant position, very close to the Grote - walking distance, a lot of restaurant close by. About the hotel it self: very good and nice, clean (much better then we expected thinking about the price) and the staff very friendly giving us all the information needed - as much as possible due to language barrier. Also very important they have a car park in the back of the hotel
They really could have a better internet connection(wi-fi) - was quite poor and the problem was we did not have good signal on our phones so... a bit of issue there - except that every thing was great
That they changed our room to a more comfortable room with hot water and proper heating
The lift was way to small
It is closely located to the Sanctuary, restaurants and shops and the train station. The owners were very hospitable and we got upgraded rooms without an extra charge.
There were no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.
Our main host and her husband were the most welcoming. I felt at home as well as on a discovery trip. The history of the hotel is fantastic and the stories shared by Lena were very inspiring. I thank her for sharing them with us/me.The room was comfortable and there is a bathtub!!!!
The bathtub needs a bit of renovation, BUT, the bath is deep and being able to take one was a delight.
