Hôtel Le Milan

The staff was very welcoming and friendly and met our every need. The location was perfect and close to Lourdes. My experience was excellent and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

I definitely don't recommend this place. Apart from the fact that the rooms are cramped, on a noisy street, and the breakfast is very poor. The biggest drawback is the room service. We stayed at this hotel for five nights, and the floor was never swept, the sheets changed, or the bed made; only towels were changed and trash removed. And all the service took place after 4 p.m., when you'd like to return to your room. As I mentioned, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Nice hotel - clean room - friendly staff - 10 minutes walking from train station and from the basilica of Lourdes

Location is good for the pilgrim coz it is just walking distance to Grotto.

The room is not soundproof, I can hear the noise of the people next door.

Excellent staff, great food, value for money .

Rooms are not sound proof, you can hear the sounds from nearby rooms especially when they are using shower &toilets.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Dislike: noise in opening and closing of doors of neighbouring rooms are so loud that makes me jump. You can hear the shower when others use them. Steps walking from above are noisy. You can hear conversations from other rooms are very disturbing. No tea/coffee facility in the room.

Staffs were nice and happy to talk with. As well as they’re really accommodating d guests.

In the room where me and my friend stayed, there wasn’t any window curtain at all. Thou there’s a heater, the cold from outside still been felt.

Location. It's a few minutes walk from Gare de Lourdes if you are taking the train from your point of origin.Price of the room was very reasonable. January is obviously a low season, but Hotel Le Milan is worthy of your pennyAccessibility to the grotto, public transportation, stores, restos.The room.that we booked was very clean, smelled fresh and it has a peek-a-boo view of the church's steeple.

Sounds from adjacent rooms could be heard. Fast talk, flushing of the toilet and even the blowing of nose is very audible from our room ? And as early as 9 AM, housekeeping is already busy with the vacuum cleaner in the adjacent rooms and at the hallway.

The staff is kind, ready to help and give indications. It is located within walking distance to the sanctuary.

Breakfast was very poor, it could have been better, at least continental service.Dinner was good, very tasty.

I understand this hotel is going through refurbishment at the present time.so any comments would not be fair at this time.

Authentic, simple and has all that you need. Also the staff were amazing and very accommodating. Fantastic location to everywhere - shops, restaurants and Bernadette’s house next door. We could not have picked a better Hotel. Grateful to the Hotel for their understanding when there was a misunderstanding with our transport.

Value for money

They took extra amount €4.32We stayed in two nights But the person in the reception charge for three nights city tax.First days breakfast goodSecond day not items extra burnt put in the table. Also did not ask if it OK.

It is neat and convenient - very well located for people interested in visiting the Lourdes basilica. It is clean and staff is wonderful.

Nothing - sound does travel through walls, but was not an issue.

The location was excellent, close to the coach station for the airport shuttle AND close to the Catholic Shrine for pilgrims.The evening meals were very good and substantial.

The shower in the room was in good working order, BUT the shower door was defective and could not be closed, which resulted in a very wet floor.Also, breakfast was very basic continental - would have appreciated a "cooked" option.

A very bad service with staff at reception, unprofessional, & very rude to customer, without even listening to the customer. I will not be visiting this Hotel in the future.

Lovely staff and owner; very welcoming and helpful with tourist advice and information. Very pet friendly and kind. We loved the personal touches and humble, down-to-earth approach taken. Rooms were cute, old-style with high ceilings. Really cool, multicultural area with yummy Sri-Lankan, South Indian and African restaurants all within a short walk to the fascinating parts of Lourdes. We loved eating out in the aforementioned restaurants. Amazing experience seeing the nightly religious festival/parade and beautiful historic sites, river and surrounding nature. Saint Bernadette's history family cottage is just around the corner from the hotel-still run by her decendants- preserved as a museum, very affordable and fascinating visit.

This was a very pleasant stay and I have nothing negative to say only fond memories. A very special place with lovely locals- do try the delicious Sri Lankan and South Indian curries- thali style- just divine! My husband and I were in food heaven.
