This resort is located on the 2,000-acre Quinta do Lago Estate, 2.5 mi from Almancil's center. It offers an indoor swimming pool, a children’s pool, a gym and championship golf courses. Free WiFi is available throughout the resort. The 4-star Vilar do Golf provides stylish low rise pink and white villas with fully equipped kitchens and spacious living area with cable TV. Each apartment has a terrace overlooking sub-tropical gardens. Apartments are cleaned depending on the length of the stay. The IlVero Restaurant features views of Quinta do Lago Golf Course and serves international dishes for dinner. The restaurant uses fresh local ingredients and has a varied menu. - Attentive Staff in Every Department!
- Room was very spacious. (2-bed/2-bath) with full kitchen AND a washer/dryer made this a very comfortable room. Plenty of A/C units (both bedrooms, bathrooms, living area) along with 3-TV's. Parking was abundant, but not in front of unit.
Cons -
- No Activities which have been part of past visits! Construction noise from current renovations.
- They charge for beach towel rentals, PLUS they charge to exchange them for clean ones each time. Exterior grounds around units was in terrible shape - lack of maintenance was everywhere. Poor communications about check-out time (10a), cleaning, etc.
