Location is very convenient being so close to the train station. Also, there are public transportation options close too. There are lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity along with shopping opportunities.
Location is superb. Parking (reserved beforehand) is really safe and close. Staff were super helpful. Really welcoming.
Can't think of anything to be honest
The hotel is a nice Italian hotel for tourist visits and business visits. Location is great beside Pourta Nova. As I rented an apartment the space was big and more than I needed. Easy to work inside the room with a working desk. Breakfast is good and covers many different breakfast styles.
Beds are a little hard, but this a matter of teast.
Lovely locationWonderful breakfast and wait staff.Beautiful room with large bed!
Friendly but loud workers next door right out our window at 8am making renovations
Hotel is in the great location, walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff. Room was spacy. Good breakfast. Private (paid) parking.
Hotel is out of date. Room furniture is very old and cheap. Practically no wardrobe in the room. TV set is less than 20".
A slightly dated but charming grand hotel, well maintained in a very central location close to the train station and AirPort Express buses. Our room had a fireplace, 14’ ceilings, a spa bath with shower and a huge terrace!
No restaurant or bar but close to lots of other choices so not a big problem.
Wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, charming relaxation terrace.
Air conditioning was turned off!!
Staff was excellent. This was our second stay at Roma e Rocca. Our first stay of six nights in a very basic, small room. This stay for one night we were given a lovely suite on the top floor complete with skylights and operable windows overlooking the green space below. Very nice set up with a separate sitting room that could be closed off from the bedroom. Comfortable large bathroom.
Unusually large rooms in an old and established hotel. Breakfast included! Near the station. Cool water available.
The staff was super friendly right from the entrance. The room was spaceous and clean. It really was that rustic type of interior which made us choose this hotel. We loved waking up in the room. The breakfast was just okay, but better than most other hotels in Italy. I would also like to point out the garage space they offer. We used this option. At first we thought it was a bit expensive but when we saw it, we realized why it costs that much. Their spaces are enclosed. You get a remote for the automatic door. This means that only other hotel guests can come near your car. It gives an extra feeling of safety. On top of that, the hotel's spaces are located right next to the pedestrian exit from the garage. This was just really really convenient. The location of the hotel was also perfection. We reached most pleaces on foot and had no issues getting from and to the hotel by car.
The only thing we disliked was the shower as it only had a shower had which cannot be moved. This was barely an inconvenience however.
The hotel is very well situated, especially for train travellers like us, as it very close to Porta Nuova We enjoyed the charm and the decor of the room, with all modern amenities. The high ceiling evoked a previous era, which we loved. We had a lovely apero on the terrace bar.,which is a distinct memory. The breakfast was very good with a choice of offerings.
The incredible architecture with old world charm and decadent breakfast. The room was spacious as we were upgraded and the ceilings were 5 meters high! Clean, lots of towels and of course the comfortable bed!
Parking. We ended up parking on the street because of a holiday and didn’t pay. There is public parking nearby too.
One night stay heading thru mountains to France. Kind, helpful front desk staff. Room was very large with balcony onto piazza. Arrived via train and quick 3 min walk across main road to hotel. Great to have a fridge to keep cold beverages during summer heat. Room was cool due to AC. Bed was perhaps a bit on the firmer side but still comfortable. Just outside hotel, you'll find cafes and shops. Very convenient. Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast had great options, hot items and healthy choices.
Leaving after a short stay
Ideal location, cleanness, helpful staff, comfortable bed
No kettle in the room, though the reception provided us with hot water every time we asked. No shelves for clothes. Standard room had a portable air conditioner placed on the floor and the tube from it kept moving out. However, with additional payment, the helpful staff upgraded our room to a comfortable one.
Excellent location, historical building, very clean, good breakfast, attentive staff.
We loved the convenience of this hotel. We were able to do what we wanted very easily. It was close to restaurants, shopping and the train station. Plus, the staff was always veery helpful.
We would have liked a little more area in the bathroom to put down toiletries.
