    Pros +

    • Not much
    • The location was good.
    • It was close to the conference and to major plazas and shopping arcades and the river. I got good instructions about how to open the doors after hours. The foyer provided a couple of nice couches which allowed us to meet other colleagues.

    Cons -

    • The air conditioning didn’t work and the staff insisted that it did— blatantly lying to me while we both stood in front of the vent with warm air coming out
    • air conditioner was off for the first several days-- it was extremely hot in the room. Even when the air conditioner was fixed, it was very weak, and the room was still hot.
    • The air conditioning was not working. The rooms were very hot at night. When I reported this to the front desk they ignored me and told me it was working. I think it pumped out air but the air was warm. The shower was small. I could do okay with that but one of the doors did not open well. It could easily be fixed. The breakfast was very sweet with not much to choose from in terms of cheese and meats or eggs.

The location is great, the rooms pleasant.

The air conditioning barely worked and they turned it off after 11pm. The heat made it difficult to sleep.

    Location

My friend and I were asigned one room but the bath tub door did not open. We were transferred to another room after waiting for a while. We had to take our luggage to the other room at 11 pm and did not receive an apology or a discount. The staff were ok but rarely smiled. The carpet needs replacing in some areas and the rooms need to be repainted. The elevator is only for 2 people at a time.

Walking distance from the places we wanted to visit.

We had a room overlooking a busy and noisy street.

    3KevinPosted on: 4-5-2025

Parking is 200m and expensive. Rooms very small. Water running noisily down drain all night. Bathroom fan excessively noisy. Staff uninterested. Breakfast poor.

It’s proximity to local attractions and the city center. The bed in the room was very comfortable and the staff very nice.

Very close to the old city center with the exeptional old buildings, Room was standard mid range hotel.Did not have breakfast even if included, late and long dinner for a Nordic person - didn´t leave space for breakfast.

Location, restaurant nearby, Tram and Bus stops are nearby, very worthy breakfast compared to other ***hotels/B&B I went

Nothing, just a bit surprised the 3stars hotel didn’t provide slippers, and I wasn’t prepared for that

    Place is perfect.

The elevator was not working and rooms were in 3rd floor. The mold smell was all over, it was hard to breathe. The wastebin in the bathroom was full from previuos visitors. Breakfasts poor and not fresh. The oat milk for coffe was standing on the shelf too long and was not suitable anynore, however I got coffe made from it... huge risk to sick due to mold and old food

    Location and breakfast

Lift was broken, but we did get help with our bags - thank you!

Very good hotel. It's better in the reality then on the pictures. Location and price are good, it's quiet, the bed is comfortable, the stuff is friendly.

    8TimothyPosted on: 12-18-2024

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location was right in the heart of everything. The bed made for a good sleep. The shower was absolutely the best!! I would definitely stay here again.

We purposely sought out a hotel with an elevator. Unfortunately, it was out of order during our stay. The staff were kind enough to carry our luggage upstairs for us on arrival. I would have given this hotel a 10 if the elevator had been working.

    9PandeliPosted on: 12-3-2024

Charming and classic, the hotel offers a perfect blend of old-world charm. The prime location makes exploring the city effortless, while the friendly staff ensures a warm, welcoming stay.

    Small room and outdated furniture

    Location.

Elevator was not working, had to climb 2 floors of steep stairs with a sore knee. Zero communication, they just don't respond to any messages! Rude staff overall, especially the receptionists. Room old and small, not super clean, bad smell, few things broken, dark, heating insufficient and noisy, small single bed. Toilet so close to the shower that one couldn't even seat. No fire alarm in the room. Breakfast just ok but very basic with cheap products, no indication of allergens. All in all, as it is right now, not worth a single penny.

The dining room and the attitude of the lady who served us.

During our recent stay at Hotel Amadeus in Turin, our group of three individuals, all of us retired persons, faced significant inconveniences. The elevator was non-operational, which was not disclosed prior to our check-in, resulting us being assigned a room on the fifth floor. This lack of advance notice was especially problematic given our age. Furthermore, the reception staff, though hardworking, relied on manual notebooks instead of a computer system, making the process appear inefficient and chaotic and also made us waiting almost for an hour in the reception area.We were promised to come back to us next morning, to try to change the room. No one came. The next morning, during our check-out, the receptionist was slow to call a taxi for us, being preoccupied with manual accounting tasks, causing us to nearly miss our train. Only after we expressed urgency, he arrange a taxi.”

Great location. Could walk to all the main sights of Turin. Hotel was decent but in need of upgrading.

Brought my own travel kettle as no kettle was provided in the room.

Good location for sightseeing. Wholemeal bread unavailable at first, just cakes and pastries and white sliced bread, but wholemeal bread was provided on request. Receptionist helpful with various minor requests.

Room in great need of renovation. Old-fashioned, small, depressing. Ventilator in bathroom made constant loud grinding noise all the time the bathroom light was on (i.e.whenever bathroom was in use, as it had no windows). Shower door hard to move. Asked for repair of ventilator every day and was always told they would try to get it done. Never happened. Lighting poor, so had to do make-up in main room holding a hand mirror. I would not want to stay there again. So-called 'bar' was a spillover breakfast area in a cold corridor.

Great location in the heart of the city. All historic sights within easy walking distance. Comfortable hotel excellent value.

A little noise from the street though to be expected.
