About

Opened in May 2006, this modern and functional hotel rests in a new residential area that formed the media village during the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics. The Art Hotel Olympic is just 10 minutes from the city center and within easy reach of the main roads leading to the city center and airport. There are 2 large shopping centers near the hotel, as well as cinemas, the Environment Museum and Environment Park. Distributed over 8 floors, each comfortable room of the Art Hotel Olympic offers the modern facilities you would expect, as well as 32'' LCD TVs with pay-per-view channels. The Restaurant offers a wide selection of Piedmontese and Italian dishes in an exclusive setting, surrounded by works of modern art, together with visual and literary quotations by the book Art in Cooking. The Cabinet of Drawings, at the restaurants mezzanine floor, is a tribute to famous contemporary painters, including Burri and Fontana.

    Pros +

    • The staff were very helpful and kind. There were restaurants and shops within walking distance so that was handy.
    • It is right next to a supermarket and a gigantic shoe store. A few blocks away from a mall. Good breakfast included with many choices of pastries.
    • Functional, comfortable and well served by the staff.Very generous breakfast and very nice decor fitting of an art hotel. Is in very close proximity to shopping and transport options.

    Cons -

    • They didn't replenish the warm breakfast items but the service was otherwise good
    • The room and hallway smelled bad. It is very far from the center of the city.
    • Location is somewhat off centre should your visit be solely for tourism purposes. It is a pity the restaurant is somewhat overpriced or of a level too high to match a 4 star hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was quiet and comfortable, offering a good night’s rest, and the overall value for money was very good. I also really enjoyed the beautiful mountain view from my room.

On one of the days, breakfast felt somewhat disorganized. There were not enough tables, clean cutlery, or dishes available, possibly due to staff shortages. However, this was resolved the following day, when breakfast was much more orderly despite having more guests. The location is a bit far from the city center, although this is reflected in the lower price compared to other hotels with similar characteristics.

Nice modern hotel near a direct bus line to city center. Friendly and helpful staff.

No coffee maker in the room. Few nearby restaurants, although one is available at the hotel.

Good breakfast and good staff at the restaurant

ugly and dark room, there was not even a kettle and a bottle of water in the room (water is for an additional fee).but we called the reception - they brought a kettle and tea

I came to Turin for a business trip and the location was perfect for me (10 minutes on foot to the needed place). The room was very clean, breakfasts were good. You can order a cappuccino or a coffee from the bar for free - a perfect way to start your morning! Staff were kind and helpful. We had a night train, so they let us leave the luggage and pick it up later.

The pillows were too low and not so comfortable, that’s why I didn’t sleep well.

personnel was super nice; choice for breakfest fine, maybe bit more vegetables would be great

problem with A/C in the room, it was hot non stop and we couldn't have managed that

    Location, staff

Cleanliness in the room, old furniture, old carpet, bad pillows, separated bads, noise , the door is old and bad and banging , breakfast totally disaster ( the eggs smelled , very little salami ), big price, taxes not included in price, parking is 15 which is not include in price. Problem with light switches wich is not sorted as it should be so you need to spend few minutes every time you need to turn lights on.......

Not inside but close to center. Goos to avoid traffic. Breakfast was good and clean

Bathroom old and dirty. Carpets were extremely dirty. A kotnof noise coming from windows. Air conditioning not working properly. Extremely rude staff. The manager excused for behaviors of workers

    8GaryPosted on: 9-7-2024

    The staff where very helpful

The shower leak onto the bathroom floor, an easy fix with new silicone seal at the glass panel

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The staff were outstanding—extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable and met all our needs for the night. It was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we required for a good stay.Breakfast was also a highlight, providing a great start to our day. Additionally, parking was very convenient, with ample space available, making our arrival and departure hassle-free.We were pleased to find that the hotel was truly pet-friendly, allowing us to use all the facilities with our pet. This made our stay even more enjoyable, as we didn’t have to worry about any restrictions. In summary, this hotel offers a great combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities. The fact that it’s pet-friendly is a big plus. We would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and easy stay.
