Hotel Diplomatic

Air conditioning did not work, our bathroom door wouldn¿t close. When I complained to the front desk they only put us on a repair list and when we arrived back the air conditioning was still broke. It wasn¿t until the third day that they moved us.

Location close to train station and public transport. Front desk staff was nice and professional.

Falls short of 4 star rating. 3 stars at best. We were given a small room for 4 people (different than what we had booked). The wifi is very bad with weak to no signal in some parts. We had to change our room so we could get weak internet at best.

The room was a little cold. I turned up the heat 2 degrees and it barely went up .5 degrees overnight.

Very small and basic rooms

Good location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, and beautiful facilities. Easily walkable to Porta Susa train station.

There was an issue with the shower, as the water did not drain properly and overflowed, causing water to spread throughout the bathroom.Additionally, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, which was very unpleasant and made it difficult for us to sleep.

The staffs were okay, they tried to facilitate the check-in .., rooms are clean. The location is very good

The breakfast had many options but the quality was not there. In general it was not the quality that you expect from a 4 star hotel.

Everything is old - and much should be exchanged. The beds are uncomfortable (even the cushions), noise isolation doesn't exist, even the minibar makes an awful lot of noise. And the shower looks like it's falling apart.

Very good cost benefit, good location, great staff and spacious rooms.

Could be held a retrofit inside the decoration and some installation.

Personnel very available and cleanliness of rooms

Room was very hot (26 degrees mid December) we were not able to start the air conditioning, but didn’t have time to ask for help so can’t complain, i’m sure the very nice personnel would have helped us

Central, modern and clean.

We liked the bedding, very comfortable. Our room had a balcony, which was great. I wished the shower had a holder for other toiletries.

There was no parking onsite once I got here. I booked it because it was advertised as having parking however I was told there was none. Another staff told my husband that they had a parking garage but you needed to reserve it before coming.The man behind the counter was less than courteous.

We stated a preference for a Queen or King size bed. Initially we received a room with two single beds. The staff reassigned the room and gave us a king sized bed, but someone must have missed the request. As well, we had to go down to reception to ask for toilet paper as the initial roll was on its way out and it was not refreshed the next morning. It was a bit embarrassing to ask for toilet paper with other guests checking in.

I had a wonderful stay! Room was very spacious and well-equipped - I especially loved the Lavazza coffee machine! Staff was very helpful and let me store my luggage before check-in and after check-out. There is a separate luggage storage room with number tags which felt very secure than the ones in other hotels I've been to. Location is convenient, close to train station and bus terminal.

It was a bit noisy in the streets but nothing unbearable.
