Pacific Hotel Fortino

The room was quiet.

I was given a second room instead of the suite I booked, then was charged for it. They stop replenishing breakfast 90 minutes before it's over. The a/c in the room was marginal. It's a solid 1 star hotel. Think motel 6...the old ones.

The hotel is a very good place to stay in Turin. Value is great at a cost of about 65 Euros per night including bteakfast. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet a lot, specially the cooked Italian dishes and the tarts. Both the staff at the reception desk and in the breakfast room are friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean with a pleasant view from the window, the bed was comfortable and the desk was extremely useful.

The hotel is perfect if you have a car but location is a problem if you walk around or use public transport. Pacific Hotel Fortino is about a 35-minute walk from downtown Turin; distance is not such a big issue as having to walk through very degraded areas of the city. Turin is an ugly dirty industrial city with a glorious past but an uncertain present and future. I had to look down all the time as I was walking to or from the hotel so as not to fall into plentiful sinkholes.

Everything! Nothing was too hard for the staff. Front desk, breakfast, cleaning... everything was fantastic!

Good sized clean room. Beds were a good size but a little firm for us. Breakfast was good. Overall very good value.

The staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean, had a nice view to the mountains and it was smoke free, so there was no nasty cigarette smell. The room temperature was ideal and the bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet, ideal for light sleepers like me. The breakfast had a great variety of food.

The pillows could be softer.

Comfortable and great breakfast. Catering staff were lovely.

The hotel feels a bit tired and dated. The front desk staff were not as pleasant as most of the others we met across Europe.

Breakfast very cheap and very poor

I spent a weekend during the ATP finals. The price was absurd, about 5 times the standard price. I understand that during busy period the price increases, but this kind of speculation is a shame. I spent more than 500 € per night for a room which values max 120/130 €. Small rooms, very old, average comfort. Breakfast very cheap and poor. Not to recommend.

Check in was super fast and since we arrived earlier in the morning we requested if room was ready and we were accommodated instantly.

Breakfast on first day was in another room which was not up to standard, with heaters on the floor etc. The supposed hot items were cold.

Staff are nice and accommodating. Very quiet area.Comfortable to sleep at night. Lovely breakfast.

The shower was terrible.They made me pay 2 euros for water in the minibar.The air conditioner didn't blow cold air. I had to open the window, but I couldn't sleep because of the mosquitoes.

Very nice stay. The room was big and comfortable, very good bed, shower and wifi. Also a very good AC. The breakfast was just amazing! The location was about 20 minutes on foot from the center, or otherwise there were bus stations a few minutes away.

There was no coffee/tea maker in the room, but you could "rent" one for 5 euro for the night, which I thought a bit unusual for a 4-star hotel with a business center.

Easy walk to several bus or about 25 minute walk to Palazzo Reali. Quiet location and room size was good. Breakfast buffet was huge.

Aircon didn’t work properly. Weather was about 27 and coldest we could get the room was 23.5 and even though we ran it overnight, it crept up to 25. Toilet only did full flush and despite leaving our towels on hooks they were replaced everyday. No coffee or tea in the room. Have to go to bar downstairs and pay. Charging €2 for a small bottle of water is ridiculous when a full litre in shops is €1. There was an issue with car parking.
