Pros +
- Small and convenient hotel in a quiet side street, good beds, simple but good breakfast
- staff were very friendly, nice environment.
- Excellent stay there was a bit of a mix up with my booking but was rectified with minimum fuss..Friendly Staff.Close to many transport links.Room very spacious.Great value for money
Cons -
- Bathroom is very basic and a bit worn out. The lift is rather noisy. Also you hear any noise from the staircase or the load TV on the ground floor. They ask to always leave the key behind when going out. However, the keys are then left freely accessible to anyone.
- the plugs were type L we were not aware.
- The smallest shower cabinet I ever used. When washing one is banging against the walls constantly. I understand space is limited, but I would've opted to remove the bidet and instead have a much bigger shower. No shelf to put shampoo/soap but used the bidet for that and had to open shower door again & again. Everything in the bathroom is tiny except the sink. Toilet + bidet are smallest ones ever - but of a cute round design!

Location is nice, away from the center so it's easy to find free car parking in the streets around the hotel. Hotel Balbo also offer parking in their courtyard for 5€/night. And just 5-10 minutes walk to the metro, which takes you to Torino center in another 10 minutes. Low price for the metro!Very nice breakfast with really good cake selection, almost too good (and I probably gained weight ;)I'm guessing this is a family run hotel or something? All the staff are middle aged and very nice and helpful. 2 dogs are hanging around in the lobby. It feels familiar but still professional, it's a real hotel. The room was very clean and had nice furniture, especially the antique desk was very nice.Torino is such a beautiful city with so much to see! spend at least 2-4 nights in this hotel.

breakfast was including a fresh handmade cake and fruits
The place was a bit off, but with connections (bus and tram), you could reach it in 30 minutes from the city center (or train statin).
Unusual in that the owners were very ‘old school’ and whilst quaint there is a lot to do.
Being assigned the wrong room?? Then asked to change from our second room to one with two single beds?

It was a very serviceable room, if a little dark and uninspiring. Staff were very helpful with an offer of coffee on departure. The bus stop is just a few metres down the road but watch that they don't come early. Mine did and he refused to wait 5 seconds. Only 800 metres to the metro station if you miss it.
It's unfortunately in a rather rundown suburb. Trying to find somewhere to eat in the evening was difficult - takeaway pizza no problem but nothing better than that. Not an area you'd want to stroll around in.
Very kind personal, very attentive to my needs
People and Italian breakfast with outstanding coffee
Staff was kind.Breakfast and room were ok.
Location.Hotel was a little bit far to the city center than I thought. If you are using public transport,It takes almost 30 minutes(10 minutes walk+10 minutes metro+3 minutes bus and waiting times) to be able to reach to the city center(piazza castello).
Nice (rather small) city hotel, family run. Very nice staff, good breakfast included till 10am, own secure parking. Spacious clean room, good big bed, good bathroom. All in perfect state.
All was as it should be in a hotel

A very nice very Italian breakfast served with great care and friendliness. Hotel location about 500 m. from Marche metro station.
Clean room, basic furniture and friendly staff for a very basic price in Turin. Not far from Massaua metro station (10 minutes walking), it is a good budget solution.
Arriving at the hotel is like arriving at the end of the world. It is located in a suburban area, not really an interesting part of Turin at all, it isn't in a place where you would like to spend more time than just go back to sleep and run away in the morning.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, parking available at the hotel which is very safe but a rate of 10eu. Pet friendly hotel but dogs are not allowed at the breakfast, either left at the room or we had the option to take some items from the breakfast items with us in the room.
Bed was very uncomfortable, very low and very soft, also there weren't any many options for breakfast. Mainly crossaints, pies/cakes and fruits. Shower is too small which makes washing very uncomfortable. Also, shower mixer feels like it will break in your hand at any time. Toilet is also small and high which feels very weird and not comfortable compared to normal toilets. Rooms have no sound insulation. You hear every car that pass, every noise in the reception, and every noise in the other rooms. Hotel may be good for a one night cheap stay, but nothing else. Will not stay there again.
