This luxurious property has a privileged location, in Lisbon's historic center and overlooking the Tagus River. Verride Palácio Santa Catarina consists of stylish rooms and suites, blending vintage details with modern comforts. The building's rooftop area features sweeping 360º views over the city. Each room or suite has a distinctive and clean décor and features, with some having balcony views over the Tagus River, while others overlook the traditional Bica neighborhood. With radiant heated floors throughout, the units all have large windows, plenty of natural light and custom furnishings, with a predominance on Portuguese materials. Esop amenities are available in the modern and elegant bathrooms of each unit. If you are arriving by car, please note that access to our historic neighborhood is restricted. However, hotel guests are allowed in the neighborhood. Please note that mobility apps such as Uber are not permitted to enter, so they will drop off at the beginning of the street (a 200-yard walk). Normal cabs have free access.

- The apartment 55 has a beautiful bathroom with marble and a jacuzzi - HOWEVER, it didn’t work and the water ran tepid by the time it was full. Also, the apartment wasn’t fully equipped with basics such as a bottle opener, water drinking glasses, tea towels. When I alerted the wonderful staff they did bring these items. But the jacuzzi not working and not being fixed during our stay was a huge disappointment. I mentioned it again as I left & got an apology and why have just offered me a 30% discount for me if I stay again. But in truth I won’t be staying again so the 30% is redundant.

The property is located in a zone that does not allow you to be easily dropped off in front of the hotel and depending on which side your cab or uber drops you off it can be a steep uphill walk. They do have a way for the front desk to lower the barrier, but the communication barrier with our drivers made it difficult to execute. It would be great if guests could just get a clicker to use. The surrounding neighborhood at night seemed a little suspect.

Breakfast was good, but you need to plan for at least an hour to enjoy all of it. The staff was accommodating if we just needed some quick eggs/coffee in the morning. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was great and the bartender we had the first night was awesome. The beds were also very comfortable.

The hotel is a beautiful historical building located in the heart of the city, with stunning views over the Tejo River. Our suite was very comfy and the staff was very nice. We liked all the small attentions that made our feel welcome. The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed the small pool area.
The bathroom was cozy but the bathtub space could be a bit bigger. Maybe it would be better to skip the bathtub altogether and install a spacious shower. But that's entirely our personal preference, not the hotel's fault.

A luxury hotel charging 1300 euro a night for suite they did not tell you that you can not take their shower slippers- they apparently reuse their slippers and then charge guest 110 euro for two pairs when you take them. Disgusting. And which luxury hotel does not give the shower slippers?

Absolutely everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and very convenient that it finished at midday. The staff were superb and the food available at the rooftop bar and restaurant was excellent, the daily complimentary cake was a very nice touch.

Very nice location (atop of the hill overviewing the river and the city), incredibly goood hospitality of the staff! and the stylish room. Restaurant was quite impressive with unique sets. All in all everything was good.

Fabulous classy boutique hotel - room, decor, toiletries, bedding all very high end. Breakfast was very delicious. Front desk staff excellent and upgraded us as it was our anniversary. it was very much appreciated. Excellent location as well!

The Apartment does not have an air conditioner, only a radiant floor that heats the Apartment but does not cool it. Please note that this is a brand new hotel.
