The two bedroom aparment was beautifully appointed and right in the middle of a square with access to anything you needed or wanted to do!
The hotel’s charm, breakfast and central, convenient location were the highlights. Also loved the fluffy towels.
Great location, big room
Very musty and old smell in room
Very good location for public transport and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful with advice for trips and places to eat out.
Nice location and very comfortable
Too many day people using the hotel as an office during the day so no room in the public areas for guests to use during the day.
The location is great position you are in the middle of all the action and all the shops are nearby the downside is sometimes the noise late at night does disturb your sleep. The building is old but very well maintained with beautiful features. The staff are excellent nothing was too much trouble the breakfast is first class which you enjoy overlooking the beautiful square. The cleanliness was 1 st class. The tram stops outside the apartment The apartment was large with everything you need the beds are very comfortableThere is a microwave hob coffee machine fridge and well equipped kitchen. The safe did not work but was replaced as soon as we reported it.The staff at reception were very helpful and would look up things on the PC.
The noise outside the hotel on the square after midnight disturbed us it was the weekend and a bank holiday so people were partying, the apartment lightening is very dim there are lamps everywhere but all low lightning so difficult to see on a dark day we did mention this to the reception We felt there should be a telephone in the apartment as we had to text if we needed anything. There was not any information provided incase of an emergency. Also we would have liked some information like a book with recommended restaurants from other guests and information regarding tram times and routes and train location times and routes where you can buy tickets and the cost of tickets and city maps and entertainment As we found all these things difficult to locate. We ordered 2 Ubers from the hotel one turned up the other couldn’t find it and still charged us.There is no staff on duty on reception between the times of midnight and 8 am We were charged for items we did not receive by mistake after we left but they apologised and we were reassured that there would be a refund.
We had a room with a plaza view. Because it was early December, there were displays of lights in the plaza. It was beautiful. The staff was AMAZING. We were arriving by car from Salamanca, so wasn't really sure when we'd get there. (A long drive, gas stops, stops to view things, traffic, etc.) We kept the staff aware of our progress as our ETA changed from 3 to 4 to when we eventually arrived (7 pm). As we approached the door, it opened and we were welcomed by name.
Absolutely NOTHING!
The location was wonderful. Exactly where we wanted to be. The property was beautiful and well taken care of. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Spacious two bed two bathroom apartment. Great location and great breakfast
Minor: could do with more crockery and glassware in the apartment
Loved the position! Tram 28 right across from the front door. 2 bed apartment with 2 bathrooms was extremely spacious. Bathrooms were great. Best Portuguese tart shop just 10 meters from front door.
The location of Le Consultat was excellent. Very convenient for everywhere you would like to visit. The rooms were a very good size. Good kitchen area in our apartment.
We were in a two bed apartment. Room 38. One of the bedrooms was light and airy but the other one was very gloomy. The lighting was poor and it looked out onto a recess between the different parts of the building which housed the air conditioning units so it was rather depressing. There was a nice large sitting room but it also had very poor lighting and as we travelled in November it was often dark when we got back, so it wasn't a nice place to sit and read a book as it was so difficult to see! Also some of the lights in the kitchen area came on with movement which meant they kept on going on and off which was very annoying.
Location was perfect. Easy tram and taxi options . Room with view of square was enjoyable. Huge bathtub. Charming, old building full of character.
I wasn’t aware that the front desk was only open from 8:00 to midnight. Our flight was very early so we arrived at the hotel before 8:00. An employee let us in and they were very kind and accommodating.
Huge apartment, well appointed, excellent location. Whoever did the room decor….. I am in LOVE with the deco chandeliers!
This was NOT the properties fault but the sewer smell due to the rain got a bit much. This is typical in the city when it rains.
Great location, very convenient for all sights.
Bathroom could need a little updating. A little noisy due to the historic building and multi-use purpose besides the hotel.
Very noisy location, cafe/restaurant seemed more like a WiFi Spot. There was no staff present the 3 times I visited.
Missed breakfast due to early checkout and were not able to provide a breakfast box night prior. Lobby was extremely cramped.. and weird that no staff present ant reception until 7:30a..we left at 6:30a. Felt somewhat unsafe as a result.

A place to avoid
There is no staff, it’s very old and not very clean, breakfast is very bad and slow (normal without staffs). A place to avoid
