Pros +
- The front staff was really nice. The breakfast ladies were nice
- The location is convenient and clean.
- Excellent
Cons -
- 7 on Location because you do have to walk up that hill.
- The antique couch in the room is cute but appears to be collapsing. It is going to if a large person uses it.
- It could have had a better way to unlock my door. Heavy plastic key which was uncomfortable …my shower leaked water all over floor first nite.. very difficult for me to clean it up. I could have slipped and hurt myself

Breakfast setting/foods was good. However, it cannot accommodate all guests at the same time. It is a small space. The hotel feels more like beds and breakfast.
The way it was presented on the booking.com was deceiving. It is not a bad place, but they should be transparent about it and let people decide. Some may like the antique looks and feels like at home, and others may like it for proximity to the high-end stores that are a 10-15 minute walk away. However, transparency is key to ensuring guests have an accurate expectation of their stay. walks away.
There were a lot of choices for breakfast, cooked to order. Loved the egg tarts, better than the ones I bought @ a bakery in town. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants, shops etc. I walked everywhere. Be mindful, the roads are all cobblestone & can be hard to navigate. A lot of hilly places.I booked a suite & the sitting room was nice.
There was a lot of construction going on around the area. The roads are narrow & I am afraid I cannot see cars coming around corners.
Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It was difficult to shower because the shower door was only a half door. Water went everywhere.
This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. A little walk to closest metro.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was made to order. Room was spacious. Wi-fi issue to connect TV.
Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast included
Walking distance to Avenida da Liberdade in historic neighborhood; has a elevator; on a quiet street
Very friendly and supporting staff! Great location near City Center. Delicious breakfast to choose.
Staff was extremely friendly.Large room
Bed was too hard.
Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.
As described-steep uphill climb especially with luggage. Floor in room was pealing. Hard mattress.
Reception desk was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was plenty, varied and timely. Room was comfortable and specious. Excellent location
Very hilly area, not much to do about it.
Bed and the pillows were awful also at 8 am you are 100 percent awake becausw you can hear everything
There was a lift. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful & friendly.
Location was poor, not too far from the center but down (& therefore up) quite a steep hill! The bed was VERY firm.
The daily hot breakfast that was included was exceptional. It was better than a buffet. The bathroom in the suite was amazing, with a full tub that had its own shower as well as a separate shower, toilet area, and bidet.
The entrance to the hotel was blocked by construction, so getting unloaded with suitcases and into the hotel was a bit tricky. The rooms were hot, and we had to ask each day for the A/C to be turned on from the reception area.
Location was very good - walking distance to restaurants and local nightlife - Also could walk all the way to the water, and to major plazas. There was a made to order breakfast, which is unusual. The staff, in general, were pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable and shower was large with good water pressure. Did appreciate the elevator, however, there was no ability to take the stairs. Our room was ready early, which was helpful to store our luggage; we only stayed 2 nights, and only had breakfast one morning (and that was rushed due to morning engagement).
Our room was quite dated, the flooring was coming up in spots; so it didn't feel up to Hotel Quality.
Unbelievable breakfast, made to order. Friendly, so helpful staff, Loved the neighborhood, close to Metro.
The hotel's location is walking distance from attractions all the way to the river, breakfast was substantial and delicious, beds were confortable
15 minute walk to Avenida Liberdad. On a side street so a bit obscure and on a steep hill but that is most of Lisbon. Room was large with a balcony. Elevator works good and front desk was helpful.
Not very soundproof. No on site restaurant besides the morning breakfast. Rooms are dated but clean.
