    Pros +

    • Breakfast and being close to transportation.
    • We really enjoyed how accessible the hotel was to various areas of Lisbon, without being in the hustle & bustle of the city centre. All the hotel staff were amazing, and the service from check-in to check-out was fantastic.
    • Breakfast is excellent with many choices. The quick and easy access to the Metro. The willingness of the staff to help you get somewhere and the speed with which any requests were dealt with.

    Cons -

    • The mattresses were quite hard, and although each guest has two pillows it would have been nice to have one good, fluffy pillow at least. Also it’s not apparent from the booking but planes do fly directly over the hotel - however there’s little to no noise.
    • Room air conditioner control needed to be repaired whilst there.Option of duvet or blanket would be nice. A kettle, with tea or coffee in room would be nice.
    • Other than room service, no way to get just a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. It was the full-blown buffet or nothing. The hotel is under the Lisbon fllightpath, so if flight noise bothers you, this is probably not a good choice. (But with closed windows, not a big deal.)

Nice room, good bed, friendly staff! The room was a comfortable temperature (mid-winter on a cold day), and the bathroom was updated. Our lunch in the restaurant on the main floor was excellent--one of the best salads I've had in Portugal.

The room was warm and the bed comfortable.

I asked if there was a kettle in the room . They advertised that some rooms had kettles. I asked if I could borrow one. I was told I could, but there would be a charge of 5 euros for the night.Other hotels I have stayed at had kettles without charge, if asked for at reception. I just felt this was a mean gesture.

Excellent breakfast; friendly and helpful staff, particularly in the bar area

Lack of information about necessary documentation from IPO Lisboa to refund city tax. IPO Lisboa was unaware of the hotel's requirements.

Everything in the hotel was amazing.Clean , clean , clean. We didnt use the restaurant as we didnt need it.We already booked our stay for December because we really enjoyed our stay .

Would be nice to have a kettle and tea and coffee facilities in the room ( I guess is an English thing). But they have room service for that and the fridge in the room is well stocked . Its only a personal opinion not a complain.

    - room service very efficient - lots of staff at the reception to support whenever needed - room was spacious, city view - nice facilities, incl. the breakfast area

    - although I booked a twin room, it was not possible separating the single beds from one another - breakfast options are almost the same every day- hair dryer power quite weak - mattress of the single bed was spongy and made me sweat at night- very hot tap water

Let's make it short: the positive things: very friendly staff, metro station (blue line) just 43 steps away, excellent breakfast, short ride to the airport, relatively large room and bathroom

The negative things: kind of worn and torn interior, strange smell in the hallway, zero soundproofing, located directly under the airport's landing zone, terrible jet noise from 4 AM to 12 PM every 3 minutes.

Very comfortable, nice location, food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful

Smelt of sewage. Is old a run down. How it’s a 4 star hotel is beyond me.

    9HilaryPosted on: 10-18-2025

The staff were delightful for the most part and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Decor of public rooms was very attractive and different, especially the breakfast room, restaurant and bar.

The coffee at breakfast; the machine was not efficient and coffee not good. I would have preferred just a shower in the bathroom as climbing in and out of a bath is dangerous for someone of my age. I had one problem with a member of staff at the front desk who was helping clients, but did not acknowledge I was waiting for 30 minutes and had to leave without the information I needed.
