Hotel Dom Sancho I

Location was safe, close enough to city center.(subway, transit access). Room was pleasant with balcony view. Historic building. Very pleasant.

No complimentary coffee in the room.

I didn’t like anything. The worse hotel on Lisbon . Nothing at all!!!

This was worse hotel , I ever been in Lisbon. The hotel hall of hotel smell bad. The breakfast was not good the handle to get the piece of cake had a hair stuck on handle. I told waitress. She said oh sorry. My room had small tv the old style the carpet smell bad the bathroom it wasn’t clean so much hair on floor.

Location, lift, coffee maker, comfortable, friendly staff and value excellent area close to everything 15 minutes to the airport no traffic.

I read the reviews or I would have not understood the lobby on the second floor didn't see any signage directing you

Breakfast beautiful part of city and not too big so easy to navigate.

The front desk staff members was super awesome so loving and Kind. What so helpful and informative with metro system and attractions. The staff was so courteous and helpful with taking photos with me of the iconic balcony. Overnight staff is a sweet woman.

Great Location with Metro station really close. Room was pretty good, great water pressure at shower, awesome air conditioner!!! breakfast was OK, breakfast dining room was well kept and well attended by the staff, keeping all items available. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and eager to offer assistance and ideas of where to go eat and shop. They set up a tour to Cascais, Sintra and Estoril. Great suggestion. Also recommended an awesome seafood restaurant that gave us a dessert wine with a coupon from the hotel. We will stay here if we come back to Lisboa. Nice stay.

The entry to the hotel is not very attractive. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of this building, so when you enter, that first lobby is not inviting. We entered and walked out thinking we had gone in the wrong door. Then we realized the hotel was not on the first floor, so we took the elevator and the looks were dramatically different. It would've been nice to have a noticeable sign above the elevator that said HOTEL @ 2ND Floor.

Excellent location. Ave Liberdado is a beautiful area. Walking distance to hop-on/hop-off buses and metro stops. Breakfast included and was quite good.

Pictures of rooms are deceptive. Rooms are very small. Half either face an alley or have no windows at all. Make sure you know which room you’re getting when booking

The hotel is in a great walking area. Close by to restaurants, tour buses, beautiful boulevard to sit or have a drink. Breakfast included was quite nice. Breakfast and cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful.

Photos on posting are deceiving. Some rooms are renovated and you may be upgraded but that doesn’t mean you will have a window or any air flow. Be sure you receive the room you are booking.

The noise from the street easily got through the windows

The location, on Avenida Liberdade, is perfect during the day.

There’s noise at night.The rooms are easily the smallest I’ve stayed in during my 10 years visiting Lisbon, multiple times per year. If you are tall or on the broader side choose another hotel. The breakfast room seems charming in photos however in reality it’s very stuffy and very complicated to maneuver from the tables to the buffet if there are several guests having breakfast at the same time. Breakfast itself is average. Room rates are inflated. We won’t be returning.

The perfect location in Central Lisbon. Walking distance from everything we wanted to visit. Very close to the bus and metro for further trips. Location could not be more convenient. Slightly small TVs.

It was a little cramped, but good value. The shower handle where the water comes out broke, so all the water was directed towards the shower door. There is no silicone so the bathroom flooded. The staff quickly fixed this the same day.

Excellent location, close to the main plazas.The staff was very helpful, were always available to answer any questions we had.

Rooms are clean and service is good.

Facilities are aged and already needs renovation. Breakfast place is quite small and could be ceowded.
