Service and buffet breakfast
Rooms looked old and in a need of a renovation plus the a/c could not be set to below 23 degrees.
The rooftop bar would have been nice, but it rained for 4 days!
My only criticisms are1 electric sockets badly located behind the bedside table near the floor so you have to move the table to reach the socket2 I would have liked a long mirror3 I could not reach the coathangers because they were too high (near ceiling)!
The location is fantastic and the staff was super friendly and also efficient. Everything can be organised and they felt super approachable to ask just about anything.
Hotel was good location. Bit dated. Rooms where clean but very old and halls very datedDownstairs reception and bar are lovely and more modern Rooftop looks lovey but was raining unfortunately so didn't get to use it Walking distance to everywhere and nice places around
Halls could be updated, but gloomy and creepy at night
Loved the room, also the staff where really nice, the room was perfect for staying here.Close to most of sightseeing.
Didnt had any complaints about my stay
we were four guests in a family room, we had a kettle and glasses for hot water but there's no coffee and coffee machine or even tea.. Just water
.. there's no exhaust fan in the bathroom, no way to change air in the room..
The hotel was lovely. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great location, easy for the sightseeing bus right out the front of the hotel. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Nice hotel central to everything staff friendly and very kind gesture of bottle Champagne and truffles left in room for my birthday which was nice surprise thank you .would stay again there
The room was a standard room , breakfast was delicious, the location was what we wanted, we thought
Our room faced the street and the street noise mostly shouting was unbelievable. We were there for 4 nights slept only one. When mentioned to the reception staff one lady shrugged her shoulders and said it was a downtown hotel, more or less-said what did you expect The carpet on the fifth floor is a tripping hazard as it’s bunched up in places.
The hotel is well located, has a very good restaurant and lobby bar and a beautiful rooftop bar. The rooms are spacious. Some of the staff at the restaurant, the rooftop bar and the reception were very nice, kind and helpful.
The breakfast is limited relative to other options and doesn’t offer much variety. For example, only hard boiled eggs are available.
Clean and spacious
This particular area os Lisbon is rather shabby. We were going to a concert nearby,so for that it was fine
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful
Bed was quiet hard and a lot of conversation on the windows, windows were a bit outdated
The Mundial is in a great location but the rooms are old and tired and would benefit from a refit which I believe is happening. The rooms were a good size and clean. The bathroom had a shower over the bath which is not always ideal for older individuals.Breakfast was good with the choice of two locations. The location of the hotel is great within walking distance to many attractions.
We went to dinner at the Mundial and the food was terrible. I ordered Pasta which was cold with a lump of cold cheese in the centre. Two other friends ordered steak well done and sent it back when it was dripping in blood. The meat from my friends returned from the kitchen on the same plate together and the waiter asked who owned which piece ….so unhygienic. When we complained the manager said he would look into it …he must be still looking. For this meal we were charged 460 euros. There are plenty of great restaurants near by.
The hotel is in good locality staff helpful
Points are the bathroom dated and needs upgrade as rust on panels probably better to have a shower also the hallway was grubby The rooms were not cleaned till around 3.30 pm. Which was not good ..as we had been out all day came back and had to vacated the room for cleaning But when cleaned it was well done Would I stay again yes . Due to it being central
Big room. Great location. Friendly staff.
You need to book a time for breakfast in advance.
