Pros +
- quiet. but 10-15mins walk to metro station.
- We liked the fact that it was close to the center, clean and offers enough for what you need for a short stay.
- The facility was convenient, clean and offered on site food and small bar. Easy walk to laundry and restaurants.
Cons -
- Air conditioning was not working
- If you don't leave a note on the door for cleaning, it won't be done. On the second night, I left a note but they only made the bed and took out the trash, they forgot to leave us clean towels, shower gel and toilet paper. Of course, after we went to the reception to report the problem, it was resolved.
- The styling / decor was very bare and modern. No particular charm. It could have in any town. Nice and clean..just minimalist.

I had a great stay at the Ibis Hotel in Sintra. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is also very convenient—within walking distance, you can find a pharmacy, a Lidl supermarket, McDonald’s, and the CUF Sintra Hospital right across the street. The hotel offers parking, which is a big plus if you're traveling by car. It’s only about 10–15 minutes away from Sintra’s historic center, making it easy to explore the main attractions. Overall, it is a convenient and pleasant place to stay.
This place is perfect for being in the heart of lisbon, needing a comfortable clean room and the optional 10€ breakfast was good standard breads/paatries eggs beans fruit strong coffee, juices etc.
Small thing, and i knew it in advance. Check in is normally 4pm. They had my room ready early and i had checked my bags in a locker at their front desk while i enjoyed a nearby park.
Room space was good
room did smell really bad , when calling reception they told me it is known issue in that section smd 10 mins will go after turning aircondition but it did continue
Breakfast was ok
Not very clean, staff not very helpful or a happy bunch to be honest
The location, near to the downtown
The sink was clogged, I reported and they never fixed, there was mold on the borders of the shower and the AC I was trying to activate the cool mode but all the time was in heat mode (is not a big deal that).
It feels like you’re getting a real hotel for the price of a hostel. It was a spacious room with a comfortable bed providing a very enjoyable stay. They also had games downstairs for guests to use and the 24 hour desk service was nice.
The shower curtain was broken, overall the stay was very good, exactly what to expect for the price, just not perfect.
Staff was very nice and helpful but the hotel itself was not worth it.
The room was unfortunately not clean - the carpet was extremely dirty, the shower was not properly cleaned, and there was visible dust everywhere. The pillows were also very uncomfortable, and the room didn’t have a mini-fridge, which was very inconvenient. The location wasn’t ideal either - despite the name, it’s quite far from the main areas and not truly central. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in Lisbon.
Close to everything. Lots of room
Very noisy toilet. Door didn't shut properly.
The location is perfect, just a 15-minute walk to the center, with a bus stop nearby that takes you directly to the city center. The beds are very comfortable, the room has all the essentials you need for a stay, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I truly hope the hotel resolves the odor issue, as it would make the experience outstanding.
I would have given my stay a 10/10 if it weren’t for the strong sewer odors that started in the early evening and lasted all night. To manage, I had to keep the windows open, but since my room was facing the main road, my nights were not restful, and I had to use earphones or earplugs to cope.
It was a great location in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. The staff that greeted me when I checked in was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was so attentive and gave me great advice on places to go. I wish I had gotten her name cuz she was amazing.
The elevator was kinda scary but besides that everything else was AMAZING! And I am really picky
The price was good for Lisbon. We were able to change rooms after the first one smelled horribly.
Our room smelled horribly. The window didn't open and the showers were moldy
This was my second stay. The hotel is a little run down but adequate for a short stay.
Nice location
The place was EXTREMLY dirty, i never write reviews but i really have to warn people. The bed, sheets, washroom everything was extremly dirty plus there was a strong sewage odor i couldn’t even sleep
The staff is super friendly, helpful, it was a joy to stay with them Location is not central, but easily reachable with public transportation, the bus 760 that goes to the center stops really nearby
Unfortunately, our room had a little smell something like a canalisation
The staff were really nice and helpful, and the hotel itself was originally very well designed. The shower, in particular, was exceptionally well thought out. The breakfast area was great and offered a wide selection of food — including cookies and even hazelnut cocoa spread.
There was mold in the shower tray and a small amount of excrement left in the toilet. The top of the cabinet was dusty, and there were no vegetables available at breakfast at all. Glass cups weren’t allowed in the room, and there was no mini fridge either — though that’s likely a reflection of the hotel’s two-star rating. That said, everything else was fine and comfortable overall.
The staff are very good. The location and access to busses is excellent. Its quite near pla es. A short bus ride will drop you there.
Rooms could have a little better soundproofing. The lift is a little small.
