Hotel Britania Art Deco Lisboa

This hotel is historic and was renovated in its original Art Deco style in the 40s.

Excellent location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the historic feel of the hotel and the breakfast was great!

Many times we have stayed and the hotel remains a favourite of ours. Unique, quiet, comfortable and with great staff who can not be anymore helpful. A great location just of the Avineda and close to many restaurants, shops and cafes.

the atmosphere of a grand hotel from another period, a care and attention to details that is very rare today. It feels like traveling back in time but with the modern comfort. My new fav hotel in Lisbon

Very very well maintained property. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. They provide an extra treat of Port in your room. An old time snapshot of a barber’s office.

Nothing! The only minor Issue was that you could hear your neighbors slightly.

This hotel is a "hidden gem". We enjoyed every minute of our stay, complete with complimentary wine in both the room and the sitting area; great breakfast; housekeeping phenomenal. Location was great, and the staff were all fantastic. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. The staff were lovely and seemed to really take pride in working there. The room was comfortable, the location excellent and the breakfast delicious. And there were lovely little extra touches, like a complimentary decanter of port in the room and a daily treat of tea/coffee and pastries in the library. As with the best hotels, staff took pleasure in anticipating any help wanted, like noticing it was raining and giving you an umbrella. A huge thank you to all, and we will be back.

Very close to lots of shops and restaurants and still very quietly located. The lovely staff is very helpfull and thoughtful. Spacious clean room (and how nice the carafe of port). Above average breakfast is served. Really great stay and I would definitely come back!

room was great! with king size bed big bathroom and nice terrace! unfortunately 3 day was rained, so we used terrace just few short times! breakfast was excellent!

Breakfsat was included and ample. Room as newly done but as it was raining we could not use the outside patio. Location was great if you wanted to be slightly away from the tourist traps.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel provided a decanter of port in the room and on the bar free of charge. Each evening between 5 and 9 tea, coffee and cakes were complimentary.The location was great for access to central Lisbon and the metro.

The bed was slightly too hard for us and there was minimal sound insulation between the rooms.

We loved everything, room, breakfast, location. The young lady at reception is an asset to the hotel and was so helpful with our dinner bookings and also super friendly.

I love the Art Deco style so there was nothing not to like.

It Is in a historic building originally built in the 1940s. It is an attractive structure with a nice sense of history. The building is well located for restaurants and shopping. It’s a short walk to the metro. Our room was quite spacious with an equally spacious bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The seating room for the breakfast serves as a bar in the evening with free Port and cherry liquor offered in addition to a full array of reasonably priced drinks made by a bartender. The staff of the hotel were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
