The staff at The Lift are very friendly and helpful. The location is great!

Our room was on the top floor, and the ceiling sloped so much much of the room was not usable. We paid for a superior room. We had a view, but couldn?t move around the room. Don?t take a room on the 5th floor.

All three front desk hosts were super, super kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help us. Room was very clean. Location was ideal for downtown sightseeing.

Property had all necessary facilities, the location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of old town, very close to restaurants, Rossio train station. But what makes this is a top choice are the people. Everybody there was so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with check-in, gave us an amazing upgrade since we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, helped us out with a private matter, and took time to give us several very very personalised recommendation.

Nothing at all

The room looked nice with nice view. The location was great. The staff were awesome. The complimentary coffee while waiting was great. There was a nice coffee machine in the room and complimentary bottle of water daily.

There are a few stairs to climb with luggage upon entry which I was not aware of. The room had a smell of urine possibly from a pet. It wasn't enough for me to complain about.

The cozy atmosphere was just perfect for us who came to Lisbon to rest and rejuvenate. The location was also perfect as two metro stations (Rossio and Baixa Chiado) are situated nearby. The Praca do Comercio was just a short walk from the hotel.

The location was centrally located which is a plus. The breakfast was excellent and plenty. The staff was very nice. All in all we were satisfied.

The shower had no door all the way and the water came out on the floor, which we did not like. Also the door to the bathroom always came open and did not close properly.

Great breakfast, perfect location in the heart of the city and very accessible to Rossio metro station. The staff are amazing. Special kudos to Luisa at the Front Desk. :)

We got the upgrade to the Lift Apartments. It was a nice aparment with a kitchen and living room.

The only critique I would have is That the room we stayed in had some poor workmanship in the bathroom- nothing that would keep us away but definitely could use some detail work. It was clean and house keeping was great as well. (Caulking, tile work, and wall patching completion and painting. Needs to be addressed.May have been forgotten about? If it was my hotel or I was the manager I would want to know)

We booked our last night of staying in Lisbon before our flight home when we were there. Host was very nice. When she heard it was our last day in Portugal, she upgraded to better room without extra charge. The location is in the heart of attraction. At night is very quiet. Very convenient to Metro.

The room is on top of the building. Bedroom with slender roof. We bumped our head once when we noticed careful enough. But just once.

Location of hotel was excellent - near all amenities including metro stations and the harbour. Did not try the breakfast so unable to comment on this aspect

Room was very small - insufficient hanging space for clothes and although facilities advertised tea and coffee making facilities, there was only a coffee machine. We asked at reception for a kettle but was advised that these were not provided

Luisa at the reception desk was fantastic—she made our stay there so enjoyable! She also arranged transport to the airport, and answered any questions we had.

The mattress was not very comfortable.

Location was perfect, in the middle of everything. Staff was very kind and helpful.

There was a weird smell in the lobby all the time , probably because the hotel is close to seaside. However it made me don't want to sit in the lobby. And the elevator couldn't be called from the upper floors. We could only call it from the ground floor when going up. It was very difficult to come down from the top with suitcases.

Unbeatable location just steps from the Elevador. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Despite being close to major tourist attractions, it was quiet and pleasant.
