Vip Executive Saldanha

Location was ideal, near the Metro, Train, Buses and Hop-On / Hop-Off.

1. There is no business center in the 4-star hotel. 2. Check-out was awful; staff member refused to accept prior payment claiming incorrect calculation. 3. Front desk staff were dead wrong on public transportation. 4. Room was inadequate & dark.

Photos are deceiving the place looks way more dated than they suggest, and the rooms are much smaller.

Very nice staff. We were welcomed with a drink and cake at check-in on Christmas night.

An excellent hotel in a great location. Very close to the metro, which is on the line from the airport. Reception staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Good value for money. Lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

Every day cleaning the room was excellent. Size of the room was quite big.Good location, metro and bus stations are close.

Good location. Check-in and check-out are quick and easy. The administration is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Coffee and water in the room are included.

Small room. It wasn't very clean. There was no soap (but we didn't ask for it - it's not a problem). The mattress on the bed was not comfortable. The hotel does not offer dinner.

The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the area.

There are no food options on site beyond breakfast.

The breakfasts were good, quite rich, but still repetitive. Good location, in the wider city center, right next to the metro and bus stop. There are restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Unfortunately, not within comfortable walking distance to the heart of the city. The hotel staff was helpful.

Breakfast could be more varied, otherwise everything was fine.

Great location - close to one metro stop for two lines and another stop for another line. Comfortable room with free coffee and water.

Excellent Location for travel, lots of eating places and a nearby supermarket.Staff at the reception were very helpful.Comfortable bed and clean place.

I requested a room suitable for a disabled person and I was pleased that we were given one, but It was very difficult to shower without water going to the bathroom floor. In my opinion it should have shower enclosure panels instead of shower curtain and it was not enough to cover fully. We reported this to the reception and they were very helpful in providing large towels to put on the floor surrounding the shower base. We didn't have enough cupboard space in that room to put our clothes, etc. In my opinion it does not qualify 4*.

Clean, modern comfortable room. Very easy to get to/from the airport by metro (under 30 minutes) and into the city centre.

There wasn’t huge amounts of storage for your clothes. Also providing only enough coffee pods for one night feels a bit stingy (we went to the local Lidl to buy 10 more for under €2).

I was in a room on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious with a huge bathroom including a bath tub which I unfortunately didn't manage to use. There were 2 complimentary coffee pads and a bottle of water which was a really nice when you come back from the conference.

Nothing in particular, honestly. Everything was pretty good. It was my 2nd stay at VIP Executive Saldanha and I didn't regret it. It is pretty close to the metro station which directly goes to the feria internacional.

Check in and check out was quick but there were several issues that we would not return to this hotel. The location is just a couple minute walk from Metro which is good. Nice restaurants nearby. The shower gel was a nice smell.

The sheets/pillows smelled musty- either like sweat or that they were damp and not dried properly. Night time was NOISY! Maybe we got bad luck, but in the middle of night between a Friday and Saturday, we had garbage trucks and other loud vehicles making noise which easily made it into our room on the 1st floor. Higher floors might be ok as well as rooms facing other streets. Rooms are fairly small.
