Cons -
- Building works in the hotel - half of lobby and bar area out of use, toilet and shower very small, shower door transparent
- The bathroom door was defective and needed a little pusj to fully closed. Other than that, everything was perfect.
- Well our room had problems with the bathroom, and we had a really nasty odor

Modern, spacious, central. Helpful staff
Good breakfast at nearby hotel in same chain. Room a decent size, good lighting.
Sheers would have been good in the bedroom. Didn’t like the very dark heavy curtains that were difficult to open. Reception was being upgraded so we had to use the sister hotel near by, which was more attractive than ours.
Location very central. Bed is comfy.
Shower room floors are bit slippery and no safety handles. I almost slipped. Have to be careful.
Room was spacious and clean. Facilities in the room exceptional. Location was perfect, minutes away from the main square and walking distance to everything.
The shower was great but a door where the entrance is would be brilliant. It's not one of the showers in the room which was good but you could do with a door at the start of the shower area.
The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the room is beautiful and comfortable. The designer truly considered every small detail, making for a perfect stay. Location is great near restaurants, shops and close to the broadwalk.
The only minor drawback was that the windows weren't entirely noise-proof, so I could hear some of the carnival festivities outside.
This accommodation is amazing. We will absolutely stay here again. It is very tastefully decorated, comfortable, quiet, and right in the heart of the center very close to the Metro. We love it here.
The staff were amazing and really helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Food, both breakfast and evening menu, was excellent. The atmosphere of the hotel was really calm and relaxing. Location is central.
Location is fantastic. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Rooms are very comfortable.
We liked everything!
The staff and service was top class. The staff is the best asset of the hotel - please don’t change that.
Despite getting upgraded to a superior room, the mattress was a bit stiff and not very soft. The water pressure in the shower was also pretty low.
Excellent property with cozy lobby and bar area. Room was quite large with a view onto the street. Outstanding location in the “baixa” of Lisbon. Food in the bar was very good. Staff was excellent and super friendly. Room had a washing machine in it which is super handy for those who pack light, but beware, you would need to take your clothing to a laundromat nearby to dry them. There are quite a few nearby so it would not be a problem!
Everything was great!
The location was superb. Everything is on your doorstep. The underground car park that was recommended was secure and good value, plus it was only 10 minutes walk. The hotel bar area was so welcoming. The decor was delightful. It was a wonderful place to enjoy a drink and relax, The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable. Of absolute outstanding note were the staff. They were smiley, friendly, helpful and just wonderful. They all went out if their way to make our three night stay really very special. This hotel deserves to be a much higher grading.
Nothing, we loved it all.
Exceptional location, very beautiful rooms and very friendly service
The room and bed were realy comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and made you feel at home
In a single word, staying at this hotel was outstanding. With its exceptional cleanliness, soothing atmosphere, and highly professional, helpful staff, it offered a truly high-quality accommodation experience. The lobby area, thoughtfully designed, was both elegant and welcoming.Should I return to Lisbon, I would choose to stay here again without hesitation. In fact, I have already stayed at this hotel twice, and for my third visit, Browns Boutique Hotel will once again be my preferred choice. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the hotel’s wonderful staff for their warmth, professionalism, and dedication.
no brekfast included - upgraded our room and it was perfect. Residence bar closed at 11 which wasnt great as we would have liked a nightcap when home from dinner etc. No toilet also in bar or lobby area -very unusual. location was perfect
During our time in Portugal, we were extremely pleased with our stay at Browns Boutique Hotel in Lisbon. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our room was wonderful—comfortable and thoughtfully prepared—with in-room coffee and tea facilities and a welcome drink that reflected the hotel’s attention to detail.Spending time in the hotel’s café area was a pleasure in itself; the atmosphere was calm, stylish, and inviting. Above all, what truly made the difference was the staff’s consistently warm, smiling, and considerate attitude. We never felt like ordinary hotel customers, but rather like truly welcomed guests, which made the entire experience even more special. In addition, the hotel’s excellent central location made it very easy to access all parts of the city. If we ever return to Lisbon, we will definitely choose to stay here again. Altogether, Browns Boutique Hotel offered us a flawless and memorable stay, making our Lisbon experience truly unforgettable.
