- Great location. If first time to Lisbon, this Chiado (Bairro Alto) area is the best location where even at night you can walk around for many shops and streets, unlike Alfama area.

Cons -
- Even with not-so-cheap price, they gave us 1st floor room, which had flood in bathroom. Hotel then gave us 2nd floor room but shower still needs to be upgraded. No internet during entire stay. Its customer care was almost none. Stunned, disappointed.
- Nothing that I didn’t like. Maybe I wish I had more nights here but I’ll be back!
- No Coffee maker in the roomNo Storage in the bathroomNo Toiletries ( toothpaste and tooth brush)No place to hung the towels in the bathroom

Very thick is very Greatful -- Location is best-- Breakfast is Good -- staff are very much helpful -- very clean
The welcoming and competent staff set the tone for this excellent experience. Although I have been to Lisbon on many occasions, I have never stayed in Largo do Carmo neighborhood and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to stay at Lisboa Carmo Hotel. And I look forward to doing it again. I really appreciate the hotel crew -- Diego and the rest of the team -- for their help and extraordinary efforts to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. Sincerely, Thomas Kinter
Fabulous location, comfortable beds and the staff was incredible! Highly recommend.
The location, room size, warmth of the front desk staff - it was all exceptional
Nothing that I didn’t like. Maybe I wish I had more nights here but I’ll be back!
The hotel’s location is perfect on a quiet street in the center of Lisbon. The train station, metro, and bus stops are very close, so it’s easy to travel around the city. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept very well. The staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked that the hotel provides umbrellas, which was very helpful during the rainy season. The breakfast was good, but it was the same every day. It would be nice to have more variety at breakfast ?. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff with impressive foreign languages that clearly met all guest needs. Welcoming and cordial.
Great location! lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Room was nice and quiet, bed was really comfortable. Love the blackout window covering. Staff was really nice and helpful. It's a great little boutique hotel. Will stay again.
Rooms are spacious, very well maintained.
Nothing to complain except I could not figure out how to get the AC working as the heater went on override. We were able to open the window and let cool air come in.
Good breakfast. Limited choices.
Early check in request could not be accomodated.
I stayed here in November 2025 and absolutely loved it.The hotel is right in the heart of Lisbon — just steps away from great cafés, restaurants and viewpoints — yet the street itself is quiet, so I slept perfectly. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed. There’s a coffee machine inside the room, and when I asked for a kettle, the staff arranged it immediately. The breakfast was wonderful as well — fresh, tasty and a great start to the day. What really stood out was the warm attitude from the team. Everyone was friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. I even asked for a coffee at the bar, and they kindly gave it to me for free — such small gestures make a big difference and create a very welcoming atmosphere.Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.Once I return to Lisbon, I will definitely come back to Carmo Hotel Lisboa.
The location was amazing, right in the center of the downtown part of the city so very close to amazing restaurants and shops/wonderful vistas but on a quiet part of the street so we didn’t hear much noise. The staff was so warm and welcoming, made our stay that much more comfortable and enjoyable
We loved the location and the staff!
We had a tiny shower but loved the hotel and if we did come back would just consider an upgraded room.
I enjoyed every moment amazing location clean and safe overall amazing ?
Perfect location. In the heart of old Lisbon and close to the shopping stores
May be no services at night. If the restaurant close then no food or water but super market is 2 blocks away from Carmo hotel so no big deal
The location is perfect - it is very close to lots of sightseeings, restaurants and shops. The room was big and comfortable.
The only thing missing was the kettle - I would really appreciate an opportunity to make tea in my room.
Great location, central yet quiet. Super welcoming staff. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Got an update and a special treat due to my birthday. Enjoyed our stay very much!
Nothing. Everything was amazing.
