SANA Malhoa Hotel

Clean, nice , newer part of town. Bathtub was large. However, it is in a part of town that very far from tourist attractions. And far from good restaurant. We had to spend money for Uber instead of walking around. Breakfast was included but not authentic

The hotel is modern, attractive (lots of light wood), public rooms and bedrooms are spotless and well-appointed, beds are very comfortable. Outstanding staff at the front desk speak English. Excellent free breakfast buffet. Very close to a Metro station.

Every bathroom has a shower/bathtub which requires a guest step up over a barrier which is 23.5 inches (60 cm) high. No one with mobility issues is likely to be able to negotiate this. Our suggestion is a redo of some bathrooms to allow a walk-in shower.

From the moment of arrival the staff truly made it feel like a home away from home. They are very kind and hospitable. Something I’d expect from a five star property. I arrived early and thankfully my room was ready. Immediately went to the spa which I had all to myself. It was lush.The bar and restaurant are wonderful too. Especially liked the music themed cocktail menu as a music lover. Everything was very well executed. And I love the 12pm checkout. I’ll probably stay at this hotel every time I visit Lisbon.

Nice, spacious and comfortable hotel. Love the bath tub. Staff was nice to send me a plate of pastel de nata at arrival and a free drink at the bar.

A little far from city central

Really expansive and tasty breakfast! The dining room is beautiful as well and offered a lovely transition into the city for the day.

Could be replacing single use toiletries when cleaning. We had one bottle of water and one set of cotton pads for our whole stay

All the staff were amazing and helpful. There was a time where I needed to return to the hotel at 4.40am and the overnight staff were very excellent. Great breakfast to keep my fueled for the day. Very close to a couple of Metro stops and Sete Rios station, as well as easy to get to/from Lisbon Airport via public transport.

Had a very comfortable stay at Sana Malhoa. Everything was great. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Check in and check out was very easy. The reception staff were amicable.

The rooms were filthy; stains on the carpet, warping and discoloration of the wood floor. There was also some mold/mildew like substance on the bedside table, and the seats were gross and covered in stains. Both of my rooms were on floor one for reference. I got a discount through booking.com so I wonder if they place guests who purchase cheaper rates on this floor.In the first room I was placed in, there were two spiders in my bed. The first one was on a pillow and the second one crawled out from the headboard. They were baby spiders, but I still think that it was incredibly disgusting. I'm sure there had to be a couple more hiding in the room. I wish I had taken a picture of this but also behind the curtain of my window on the windowsill, there was a giant crumb of some kind of food. There was also mold/mildew in the grout of the tile in the bathroom. My bathroom did not look at all like it did in the pictures on the website. Everything just seemed old and dirty. I called the front desk and a manager came up and took a picture of the spider that I had killed in the bed. She apologized profusely and they put me in a new room on the same floor. She also promised that I could go down to the lobby and get a drink at the bar as an additional way to placate me in the situation. Although the new room had a bigger bed, the room was still filthy. Stains everywhere, holes in the wall from a misaligned TV mounting. The lobby is magnificent. It's gorgeous and looks exactly like the photos. However I was disappointed when I went down to the bar to get my "free" drink and was told I didn't have any credit on my room after they called the managers to confirm. I felt embarrassed so I went ahead and paid. All in all a bad experience, especially after being at the Algarve Marriott Salgados Resort (go there if you're ever in the Algarve region!!!) for the week prior.

Just spent the night with my son to get an early flight, but it was everything great. The bedroom had a sweet threat with a welcome note, which was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly.

The only thing to mention was the shower that we couldn't regulate the angle because it was always falling down and with water on the glass it came outside for the floor all over the bathroom..

The breakfast buffet was very tasty, the fruit was very fresh. Staff was always very nice when we needed something. I used the gym and was very pleasantly surprised by it. Recommend!

The property is beautiful and very clean. The lobby bar and restaurant are lovely. Our suite was spacious and accommodating for a family of 3. Enjoyed having breakfast included.

Found it a bit pricey - room rate and bar drinks.

Overall, the hotel is good, with a nice interior and good cleanliness.

Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel and the room. As for the staff member working at the bar, it felt like they disliked us and served us in an unfriendly way, and I felt uncomfortable even when placing an order. Considering it’s a 4-star hotel, the service could have been better. It would also have been better if disposable slippers, a bathrobe, and a toothbrush had been provided. Additionally, even though we requested a double bed, we were given separate beds, despite the hotel not being full or busy at the time. However, I would still return and give it a better review next time.

Friendly, great location for what we wanted to do, and very nice bar with very nice smoking room. And good price. Will stay there again!

I have been in this hotel a few times before and it never disappointed me. I would definitely come here again.I had a wonderful stay and received a divine welcome. The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help. Special thanks to Mrs. Luana from the reservations department. My daughter's birthday was fantastic, thank you so much!
