Pros +
- Great location. Closer to Metro. Downtown.
- This was our first and one of the most memorable stops on our trip. The hotel was located in a touristy area, and steps away from memorable sights. The staff, George, was fantastic, over and above and so welcoming. Would definitely stay there again!
- Location was great, Fabio is worth a mention and really helpful.Comfortable room amd clean.Breakfast was good.
Cons -
- Smell from drains in bathroom was unpleasant.
- I normally choose a hotel ? with a restaurant. To me, the availability of breakfast implied there was a restaurant. Luckily the River Dare is right across the street from the Time Out Market. Any kind of food is available so not having a restaurant is not a deal breaker for me. River Dare is centrally located and quite walkable, as long as long as you can deal with the rolling hills and inclines of the city. Thankfully, whenever there's an incline, there will always be a decline ?

The people working in Dare Lisbon River were the most helpful I have met in a long while. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, and glutenfree options were available! The city of Lisbon was easy to explore, since the metro station was close by. This was my first time in Portugal, so the hotel staff provided me plenty of useful tips to make my exploration of Lisbon a delightful adventure. I would recommend Dare Lisbon River to first timers in the city, or to people coming here for a romantic getaway.
Good breakfast. Good to be able to have drinks in breakfast room anytime. Lovely staff
I really enjoyed the breakfast, cappuccino, and complimentary wine. All of the concierge staff was helpful in giving recommendations as well as making reservations. In particular, they made reservations for our group of five at A Severa where we had a memorable night of authentic Fado music ? ? coupled with a delicious dinner. While I was pleased with all of your staff, I only remember two names, Ellis (with the small that says, "We're glad you're here.") and Jorge (with the engaging personality and multilingual gift). The young lady that checked me in was outstanding, sorry I don't recall her name. Your attention to detail was appreciated in the well-appointed decor in the room.

Boutique, location, staff
What an excellent hotel, we loved it!- Cute room and nice spacious bathroom, lot's of goodies that you make you feel at home.- Extremely clean, you feel comfortable.- Nice mattress and nice pillows.- Very helpful staff, they are very kind.- Absolutely no noise from the street and it's very close to the pink street and Mercado.
The only thing I could point out is that the wooden floor at the entrance of the rooms makes cranky noises when walking on top and this is heard inside the room.
Across from Market made this a found treasure, amazing location quick walk to river and fabulous sea food. Restaurant’s have many locations in Market. Best food best atmosphere. Around the corner from Coya taco actually delicious.
Only negative thing was we had to leave to catch a cruise ship. We will return we are missing your wonderful Iris and George the best!
Some hotels have really figured out how to do it right, this is definitely one of them.It has everything you need a place to sit and have a glass of wine that they have available all day long as well as coffee or water, which it seems like some people treat like it’s gold so difficult to get a glass of water sometimes in Europe. The staff is wonderful. The hotel room is very comfortable. Also close to everything you would want to see.
Parking of course, is always an issue, but they were very helpful in getting that taken care of for us. It’s very convenient across the street underground but it’s very hard to find the entrance to it.But once you’re parked, you could not stay in a much nicer place.
Everything. Location, friendly & helpful staff, great breakfast. Free wine & coffee in communal lounge.
Upon approach we were worried because of the simple entrance but once inside it was a special little gem. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was great and the rooms were surprisingly comfortable and had the necessary amenities.
Quiet, beautifully finished hotel, friendly welcoming staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely to receive a welcoming drink at check-in. Some great restaurants nearby.
