Staff was professional, friendly and helpful.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room clean and quiet and the breakfast had a good range of options and was fresh.

Although the hotel is located next to a metro station, which is on a central line and extremely convenient, the area itself did not feel the safest in the evening and after dark. As two female travellers we kept to our room in the evenings rather than taking a stroll around the local area.

Very nicely appointed hotel in a very convenient location just yards away from the Metro. The rooms were very nicely designed and the staff were very helpful.

While the rooms were definitely of a high quality, I think that sometimes form overrode functionality, especially around the shower/toilet area.

The Dos Reis proximity to downtown Lisbon was our initial draw, but on arrival I was very glad to have chosen this boutique hotel. the staff are all very professional, helpful, smart and even mannered. Any small problem, as sometimes happens upon arrival, was met with a solution and genuine concern and smart problem solving. That sort of positive energy really make all the difference.

Two minor things:1) the cleaning product smell after daily cleaning smelled chemically to me and did not appeal. luckily it dissipated quickly after opening the windows. perhaps a smoke change to an essential oil based cleaner would be a good idea because it would smell fresh and clean and still inviting. 2) the room directly across from the elevator could be a smidge loud so if you are sensitive to noise you might ask to to be by elevator when you book.

Very charming modern boutique hotel. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean well equipped room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Staff were very helpful. Would recommend a stay here.

The hotel is well located and the room is clean. The staffs are really nice and surprised me with a cake for my birthday. it was a pleasant stay and i will come back again

Brand new, stylish, comfortable and clean, and very attentive and dedicated staff, very nice breakfast.

Location, although on a walkable distance from center and other top locations, the road to and from the hotel goes through a not-so-clean and well maintained street and square.

Rooms looked great! Breakfast was very good. Reasonably priced. Surrounding area is a bit hit and miss, but that didn’t bother us. We walked to main tourist areas in the morning and then just got a taxi (Bolt) back to the hotel in the evenings.

A few strange design choices but all good. A bit noisy even though the windows were high quality, as we were overlooking main road.

To the management at Dos Reis,I am incredibly disappointed with the service I had from your staff over the weekend and thing only got worse upon what was supposedly a solution to the issue.After a long travel day, my friend and I arrived at the hotel at 8.30pm; we went to check in with a man called ‘Jack’ to which he then informed us that he was having technical issues and we needed to wait a few minutes for this to be rectified. We stood whilst be tapped away, 5 minutes later he asked us to sit as he was still having issues, there was no apology at this point. So, we sat… we had not eaten and had started talking about our plans for dinner, which Jack therefore overheard. He then came over and said he was still having issues and to please go to the restaurant for some food and a drink and the hotel would sort as a gesture of goodwill. So, off we went into the restaurant still with no solution or apology. After about an hour or so Jack was strolling around the lobby and hadn’t come over to tell us what the solution was, as we sat there, we were getting more and more stressed thinking we wouldn’t have any where to stay and would have to find alternative accommodation for the night. If jack had come over and told us we had a solution it would’ve cleared all our worries and we could’ve enjoyed our first evening in Lisbon however, Jack did not come over and we went to him another 30 minutes later to which he replied, ‘oh yes, I have sorted it, you’re going to an alternative hotel, its an upgrade I promise’. We asked for the name of the hotel (Madalena) to check that it was in fact an upgrade (it was not, both hotels are 4 star). Still with no apology, we went back and sat down to finish our drinks, Jack later came over and said that he had got us a taxi and tried to usher us out of the hotel. We told him we had not finished yet and would be 5 more minutes, he came back quickly and said, ‘the taxi is waiting if you don’t mind’.

The breakfast was very good. Staff excellent. Location was good not great

Loved everything about this fantastic property! From the central location, to the cleanliness and exceptionally friendly staff, everything was perfect!!

An excellent property in a very good location. Metro right outside the front door and Tram just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful clean room that was soundproof and very comfortable beds. We loved the daily water and refreshments left in our fridge too. The shower facilities were also excellent. Overall a fantastic hotel and would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back. Not to forget to mention Jessica at the reception was so helpful and friendly. Chitra in the restaurant was also very efficient and helpful.

The bar prices are quite expensive however I would not let this affect the score for this hotel as it was a fantastic hotel.

Good sized rooms with everything you need in them. Loved the free minibar and water. Breakfast was nice and all the staff were very friendly.

I hated the teacups at breakfast (the only thing I could think of, hotel was great).

Location, comfort and extra polite staff. Everything was exceptional. We stayed 7 nights and didn’t have any complaints!
