LUSTER Hotel

This should have been an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing, they even left a gift for me on my birthday (a part of that gift was a bottle of wine and I don't drink alcohol, so that was a bit weird).

I wasn't able to sleep well, and that's really the main purpose of the hotel. Someone was slamming the doors so hard the walls were shaking, and this started at 7 am on a Sunday and continued on Monday. I think it got a bit better after I reported it to staff, but there's not much they can do if the hotel is built in a way that closing a door in one room makes the walls shake in another. Also, the water in the shower kept changing temperature from hot to cold and back, very annoying.

Clean and modern. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This is the best hotel I have visited in Europe.

I could not open a window, but the rooms have very good automatic ventilation so no big problem.

Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures, don’t waste your time or money - we chose this hotel over another hotel because of the beautiful rooftop pool and bar and gorgeous spa. However when we arrived we were advised the rooftop was closed for renovation. We then returned from sightseeing early to use the spa, there was a smell of sewage (maybe as the spa is underground and has not good drainage?) however the smell was difficult to sit in so we tried to go in the sauna/steam, however these were both not working. Quite annoying / frustrating, but we informed staff the sauna appeared to be broken and they sent someone to fix it and they did, informed us it would heat up within 5-10 minutes however it was still cold 15 minutes later so we left. The pool was also visibly dirty and had flies surrounding it (pictures attached, likely because of the sewage). We spoke to reception to voice concerns in a kind manner and staff were apathetic and cold, did not apologise, started to argue with us stating the rooftop being closed was advertised on their website and was our fault, we showed them our booking page which stated ‘rooftop bar open all year round etc’. We emphasised we chose this property over somewhere cheaper, because of its spa and rooftop and both things were not working/open, so it was frustrating and staff said ‘well we can refund you so you can check out now and go somewhere else’ (crazy!!). The staff member spoke to management and called us back later, stating there was no smell (again insinuating we were lying) and that there was no problem with the sauna and that actually ‘we didn’t know how to fix the sauna’ (strange that they would advertise the spa being open but then not have the spa facilities turned on and again, blamed us for not being experts in setting the sauna up in a spa hotel).

High level hotel. Felt like 5+ stars. The environment was welcoming, super friendly staff. Breakfast had a wealth of food. The room was comfortable and clean.

During rush hours it was hard to get outside with Uber in short time.

The pool facilities were excellent - I don’t think we would visit a city again without something like this. It may have been the time of year we’re were visiting, but they were empty all but one day of our stay!The staff were beyond amazing!!!

The breakfast is quite basic. I had been looking at their brunch menu online thinking that this was the relevant menu, but they only really do eggs and pancakes as cooked breakfast. One morning of our stay they didn’t even have this as an option, and there was no sliced bread either, so all we could really have was either cake or yoghurt, which we don’t really eat for breakfast. We personally would have liked more choice in this regard. The cleanliness of the room shower could be improved, but this didn’t bother us too much.

The rooms were beautiful. Spacious, clean, and with a large TV. Hairdryer, iron and safe all included. Breakfast was very tasty with a variety of food to choose from. Pool was great, nice sauna and steam room with cool additions like a relaxation room with heated seats and a diffuser. Location is a long walk - about 40mins, from the main area however the bus or metro is a fast way to get there. The staff were more than helpful, they recommended some great restaurants to us and showed us all the best places to visit on a map.

Stylish & great attention to detail. The staff were amazing & helpful with everything. Even going very much out of their way to help reunite my daughter with her childhood toy that she accidently left behind. Great facilities that we were able to use post check out due to evening flight. Good food & drinks & definitely retuning! Thanks to the team again ??

The sauna pool and steam room. Front desk and restaurant staff were top notch.

The buffet breakfast was delicious! The staff were terrific - accommodating and friendly; it was lovely chatting with them in the morning and when we returned. The location was great, just a couple minutes away from the Hotel. Will be back!

Nothing, everything was exceptional.

Loved the style and decore, very modern and cozy.

The bartender didnt know how to make basic drinks. Had to look up the drinks in a book. It took her 20 minutes to make two drinks and didnt make them correctly.

Attention to the details, a la carte breakfast options, responsive and attentive stuff. Modern, stylish and fresh interiors.

Fantastic hotel to stay at. Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff! The breakfast room is spacious and there was definitely plenty of choice. There was a coffee maker in the room and the room was equipped with all the new gadgets! Very good mattresses and bed! We also enjoyed an afternoon at the SPA and a massage! Highly recommended! There was a metro station nearby! Very convenient to go to the city

Staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly. Facilities were great too, especially the indoor pool/spa. Loved the room, always clean with lovely touches.
