I liked the location. Chiado is the best place in terms of easy access to all neighborhoods. Hotel is close to Metro and waterfront. The room was spacious and clean. Modern furnishings. Mattress comfortable and firm. The shower drained poorly, and needs to bel cleaned out. The staff was excellent...competent and friendly. They made every attempt to afford me early registration and room access. The breakfast is terrific. Great choice, much better than most european hotels.
Shower drained poorly.
The breakfast was fantastic. Beautiful fresh food with excellent service. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The location is great and a good point to explore the city and return for dinner or to turn in. The staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful and even helped us book train tickets for a day trip on the high speed train (could have done this ourselves but is was fast to have them help.)
The property is NOT a 5-star hotel. It does not meet that standard. Perhaps 4-star at best… this is based on having no ambiance or facilities besides the rooms and a restaurant. In comparison to a property up the street and around the corner for slightly more cost is a literal palace and museum to the history of the area. The accommodation is relatively bare bones and someone is stretching the description of the place to achieve a higher star rating. We also had a room facility malfunction that we informed the hotel staff about on our first arrival and after three nights it was not fixed although they said someone came to check it. Agree to disagree.
Came for a conference and this peaceful boutique hotel gave me a break during mornings and nights. Good location also
Beautiful location behind a square down near sights and restaurants.
Odd decor that wasn’t up to the price tag for the room.
The location is very convenient and it’s a pretty hotel.
I booked one night for my birthday for purpose of having a dinner and drinks with friends in the city (I live outside Lisbon) and to finally get a good night’s sleep because I have a young child. I booked a courtyard room and asked for a quiet room in the notes. When I arrived, they told me they had upgraded me. The room looked exactly the same as the photos of the room I booked but I was facing the roundabout/street in front of the hotel. I called the front desk and they assured me the windows and shutters would block out street noise - and they did until around 6:45 when the garbage truck came to collect from all the bins directly outside my window. I brought this up at checkout and they were aware of the issue. I also paid ahead for the €50 breakfast, which seemed very expensive but I’ve had amazing breakfasts at 5 star hotels so I was willing to give it a try. This was maybe a 4 star hotel breakfast and certainly not with €50 so don’t waste your money. There are so many excellent restaurants for 1/4 of the price nearby.
Location and the rooms were nice and spacious
Very small gym.
Great location. But most of all LOVE the staff. They are so service driven, motivated and empowered. I will definitely come back and stay there again
Like all hotels in great city center locations, room are a bit small, but no complain.
The staff helped me rearrange my trip, scheduling transportation, and were very accommodating to my changing needs! Thank you to the entire front office staff. Thank you to Bruno.
Style, location, decoration
Breakfast staff skills should be improved
Very nice old hotel with all the upgrades you’d expect in a new hotel. Breakfast was great and staff very accommodating. In the location we wanted near Alfama.
No complaints.
Location was excellent, staff was friendly, and overall room was sizeable with comfortable bed and sizeable bathroom.
Additional room amenities like coffee/tea, etc.
Lastminute booking due to the powercuts and extra stay in Lisbon. The hotel and staff were very accomodating. A sure relaxed treat after a day of uncertainty
The location was central. Plenty of restaurants and sight seeing within walking distance. The room and hotel decor was classy and fitting for the property.
Looked wonderful from the outside . Room ok not what I expected modern. Beds comfortable. Reception staff ok but could have been more helpful.Stayed in Bruge in the Dukes palace which was great for less money.Ok
Looked old from outside modern in.Trash carts collected every morning early,
Excellent location and friendly staff, room was very nice also!
Ate in the fusion restaurant on premise, and the third time we ate there the food took about an hour to get to us and the restaurant only had a couple of guests dining at that time. Staff apologized for wait, but didn’t really make it right. Could have comped the meals or offered appetizers if the kitchen was having issues.
The hotel is very nice very clean and the staff are very friendly the only thing is it’s noisy because of the street and the fire building is close to the hotel . The weekend is bad other than that the rest is very good
