    Pros +

    • The fabulous single room and the view and the staff
    • The view from the terrace was extraordinary. Ending the evening with a glass of wine and great conversations with fellow travellers on the balcony was memorable. The staff was friendly as well
    • 24hr front desk, great location, the roms with private bathroom were great.Terrace was amazing and so was breakfast, enjoyed every bit of it. Staff was very friendly

    Cons -

    • There was not a lot of room I change clothes near the shower. Also the shower was programmed to turn off every 30 seconds or so which was a bit inconvenient but not tragic
    • Shared bathrooms were lacking due to broken urinal and were not clean (women's restrooms were the same from what I heard), this was due to other messy guests rather than staff not cleaning it.
    • They could not accommodate me to stay in the same bed for both nights so I was offered to go into a larger offer, the price remained the same. This was a common occurrence as many people staying in the hostel had to move beds several times over their stay. This meant they would have to check out and re-check in each day.

Friendly staff, Nice view and the best thing is the view from the terrace.

The location is pretty high in the city and I didn't like climbing too many stairs to reach the hostel but if you like hiking this is the best place for you ?

There is a nice balcony view but this place is on the top of the hill , only taxi can drop you off on the top but then you have to go down couple of steps with your luggage, in our case we had a big van to carry our two bike and the van is not allowed to go up the top of the hill, we were dropped off the bottom of the hill with all our luggages , furtunately the driver and the receptionist of the hostel went above and beyond ,they carry our luggage and bike up to the top of the hill and then took the staircase down to the hostel , I gave them extra tip for their kindness /help, they were our Camino angels the day .

There was one female staff in particular who was very warm, kind, and helpful! The rooftop patio was the reason to book this spot.

It did feel like we were inconveniencing most staff by asking questions and trying to connect, but perhaps I was misreading the communications.

I absolutely loved this hostel. The location is perfectly close to everything in Graca/ Alfama, stunning views fro the terrace, well equipped kitchen, very friendly styff, spacious rooms

If check in could start a but earlier, it would be lovely

Great friendly staff. Fantastic location with a great patio and views.

Bathroom stalls did not close all of the time. Sometimes hard to find room in dark hallway.

Amazing views and great access to the castle and monastery, as well as lots of cafes and souvenir shopping. You’re either going up or down a steep hill or stairs mo matter where you go in Lisbon so you might as well stay up high with a nice view. Hostel had everything you might need. It was relatively quiet and I appreciated the excellent hospitality of the people who worked there.

As with most hostels, the shower floors are slippery as all heck and there’s not much privacy around showering. The only problem I had was that the toilet on the other side of the wall from my bed was running off and on all night, which was a little annoying.

    8JodiPosted on: 4-26-2025

The views, the deck, the private room

I would like the shower taps to be easier to use, I couldn’t change the temperature and they turned off quickly

    Everything was good!

One men staff who has a dred hair style like a flower had a non-professional attitude at specific person.I wished he would be smart and had a mature mindset.

In This is Lisbon I stayed for the first time over 10 years ago. I chose to book in part due to some nostalgia. Needless to say my stopover here was wonderful this time as well, it could not be better. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff is welcoming and genuinely supportive. Pleasant breakfast, the terrace with a view is still as amazing as it was. I borrowed a yoga mat from the hostel and practiced in the morning. Great sense of being in a good place that has values and integrity. Thanks for everything!

    Everything was perfect

Great hostel. Staff was excellent, rooms were nice and of course the terrace was fantastic. Great stay!

It got tiring walking up the hill every day to the hostel, even with the elevator

    6GhaziPosted on: 4-8-2025

An awful experience was that police toed my car and after finding the parking police avoided of releasing car and persist on original document like registration and insurance

    9SelmaPosted on: 4-1-2025

A nice hostel with a terrace with a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast at the price of 3 EUR is quite decent. Friendly staff. Although it is high on a hill, there is an elevator nearby to the street where the hostel is located.
