Pros +
- Good location. I stayed with my 4 years old child, and everything was nicely close.5 minutes to metro station, 3 minutes to food shop, 6 minutes to playground and 30 minutes to town centre.Small selection but good breakfast.Very friendly staff.Clean comfortable room.
- Great room. Comfortable and clean!
- This is the best Ibis in Lisbon. Their staff are the best as they are very responsive to mails compared to the other Ibis hotels in Lisbon. I am so glad that I chose this one as their staff really helped me with the local stuff and even my local tour booking.
Cons -
- No kettle or fridge.Hilly street can be an issue if you struggle to walk.
- Location… but an easy walk to the town center.
- Some members of the staff were a bit cold hearted, not very kind, avoiding eye contact, and some not even speak to us. But I guess this is rather the rule in Lisbon. Very small windows, lack of balconies also.

The 2nd room to which we were upgraded to, cause the 1st was too small for two persons, the location, quiet, breakfast satisfying.

The room was standard Ibis quality — comfortable, well designed, and practical. One feature I especially appreciated was the double-door entry, which helped block out noise from the corridor and made the room feel quieter. The bed was comfortable, with power sockets right next to it, and there was a large desk with plenty of sockets, which was great for working. The staff were very friendly and helpful — one even gave me a free pastel de nata, which was a lovely touch.
I did book an extra night, and there was a little confusion at the front desk and with room service trying to access my room while I was inside, but this was resolved quickly and didn’t affect the overall stay. The only real downside is that the hotel sits on top of a steep hill with mosaic tiles. Getting my wheeled suitcase from the taxi to the lobby meant lifting it slightly (not far, but noticeable if it’s heavy), and walking back from central Lisbon is a bit of a mini workout. That said, it’s manageable and not a dealbreaker.Overall, a comfortable, well-located hotel with friendly staff, especially good if you don’t mind a bit of uphill walking.
The cleanliness was good in the toilets in the buffet area, and the breakfast was varied enough. Staff was friendly and approachable.
The lighting was via two main lamps in the room so the lighting wasn't very bright but it was good enough for me and my family since we were on vacation. We were not doing work that involved a lot of detail. I had food poisoning in Lisbon but I don't think it was acquired from food in the hotel.
Spacious room. Very clean. Good soundproofing. Nice location except the little hilly walk.
1. The heater did not work: I informed the reception and they said they would send someone. NO ONE came. I had to wear layers to stay warm. Too tired to move. 2. The room was empty, absolutely NOTHING in terms of amenities. I understood the toothbrush, but for that price and not even a tea or coffee pack, or a welcome bottle of water inside the room, made me feel ripped off bcos with that rate I could’ve gone to another hotel nearby and they would provide full.I’m surprised that in this day and age, with the crazy global economy and fierce competition, the iBis chain in Europe remains quite stingy. I’ve stayed with iBis since more than 2 decades, and even iBis in Vietnam has a lower rate per night but much better room equipment than this. Due to these 2 reasons I’m not coming back.
Excellent location, excellent staff, clean environment
Room was too small there was barely any place for 2 luggages although the bathroom was spacious.
Location, stuff, bathroom.
Pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. Charging extra for hotel parking.
Clean room
1. Coming back from the day trip, there was no hot water + weak water pressure for showering, due to the site work. Staff just asked us to wait (not allowed to change to another hotel nearby). We were tired and finally slept without taking a bath the whole night. 2. Location: the hotel is situated up on the hill, not suitable for going up and down with lots of luggage!
The room is fairly spacious, and the location is convenient, being close to two metro stations—Rato and Marquês de Pombal. However, the access road is uphill, which may feel a bit tiring, especially when carrying luggage.
the heating system works inconsistently. An electric kettle was not provided in the room, which made it inconvenient for us to prepare meals such as rice and instant noodles
Location, room service, staff
Overall it was perfect.
Comfy bed, clean and in a good mood location
The room is very small and it would be nice if it had a kettle and choice of teas and some complementary bottles of water
The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is quiet and well served by buses. It was a good hotel for a business trip.
The wifi didn't work on my laptop. The staff couldn't provide information about public transport options. The rooms are ultra basic and a very thin blanket for winter.
Very clean, comfy bed .. value for money Carla at reception was great
Location
They gave our twin bedroom away as we checked in late/passed midnight and gave us a doubled bed instead for 2 big guys
It was an amazing experience. The Staff were so helpful and friendly. There was a great atmosphere. The Hotel was spotless. My room was fantastic. The towels were changed every day and the bedlinen was changed regularly too. Breakfast was really delicious. In the afternoon or evening it was so easy to order a tea and even eat a pastry as well.
Nothing it was a perfect holiday
It was an amazing experience overall. I had the best stay, the staff were very friendly and approachable. When I checked in, it was Ms. Carla who gave me a higher floor room as I requested for. She was very helpful and friendly with my requirements. She guided me to visit the best spots in the city. Other staffs were super friendly and helpful too. But Carla was the best. I had a memorable stay and I highly recommend it for travelers to Lisbon. Location also is very accessible.
Clean, comfortable, lovely staff, bar.
Ibis should provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
It was in a nice area. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff
Steps and path outside entrance are steep
