Honestly the only two things to like was the staff and the partial view.
The towels were frayed; the bed was old and hard; you have to leave the key with the front desk when you leave; VERY touristy area, not much good food around; limited hot water; old, wobbly door lock;loose faucet; carpet; needs paint job; bad lighting.
This hotel was perhaps the best part of our tour of Portugal. Literally built on the walls of the former palace, it has the king¿s chosen views of Lisbon. Bruno, the proprietor, personified warm, welcoming hospitality. Ideal location for exploring Lisbon.
That not every room enjoys the incredible views of the city and the river, so be sure to get one that does. But we loved everything about this place. It¿s a must stay for Lisbon visitors
