Altis Grand Hotel

It was safe and clean. Location was not central to main attractions but not a far walk to public transportation.

My room. It was right next to the elevator. Could hear all conversations and movement at all hours. The most unpleasant thing was the loud plumbing noises all through the night disturbing my sleep. The toilet seat was not secure and uncomfortable to use

The staff was amazingly friendly, especially in the restaurants. I loved the layout of the hotel. It was spotless and very welcoming.

Hotel felt 'old' - while well maintained, it is close to needing renovation.

Location - It¿s location puts it close to the shopping district and accessible to other areas. The roof top bar was a great place to relax with some drinks after a long day.

At some point this hotel was a five star, but not anymore. It¿s quite dated and the room was a bit small. The lighting around the hotel and bathroom was very poor. Air quality in the room was also poor. Not worth the amount of money paid.

Excellent staff, food, room, rooftop pool and central location. When my tour guide did not arrive, the hotel found me a tour in 30 minutes. They found us restaurants and were exceptional in customer service.

Promised airport shuttle did not show up. You must contact hotel a head of time and obtain a confirmed pickup time. (We did) If shuttle doesn't show, take a taxi Obtain A RECEIPT from the driver to present to the hotel (we didn't). Only flaw of stay.

I really appreciate that I was able to check in early and I was provided with guidance and suggestions for what I could do with the time I had.

Breakfast was wonderful

It was well kept and the staff was very good.

Many of the services that were stated to be included weren't. "Breakfast Included" and "Free Taxi Service to the Airport" were not. They claimed that they never are free although the were highlighted on BOOKING.COM. It maybe that BOOKING.COM is to blame but it was disappointing as those two services were the reason I booked the hotel.

We were very happy with the service we received at Altis. Especially from staff member, Enis Almeida. She was very pleasant and very helpful with giving us information about the nearby beaches and made sure we had everything we needed in our room. We really appreciated her customer service and care.

the tv behind the glass/mirror enclosure made it very hard to watch tv comfortably because of the glare. I know aesthetically it looks lovely, but not a good idea.

excellent room , very comfortable bed and pillows.great indoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi.closely to Eduardo park and about 15 min walk from Rossio square.

Read reviews, and supposed proximity from main action. In my opinion.. by foot far… by Uber.. not far and not too expensive.

Location is great. Easy to walk all over Lisbon from hotel. Really liked the staff. They were very helpful. Good selection for breakfast buffet. Set up well organized and lots of attention to details.

Did not like that room were not serviced until after 5pm. We were gone most of the day time and they would be stopping by so late.

We had to have someone come fix the AC and the sink drain when we first arrived. They were very responsive
