Great location and very clean, overall very comfortable to stay.
The breakfast was the lowest point. It barely had anything to offer, and the options were very limited.
Very friendly staff, and everything squeaky clean. The bed was comfortable, and the street quiet, so guaranteed a good night's sleep. Price is very affordable.
The hotel is a bit old (air con not working, noisy plumbing etc). That can't be helped easily, but the breakfast could become a bit more exciting without necessarily costing more. Maybe vary the kind of cheese every so often, and definitely include black tea!
Location
Room 101, water plumb noise.
Quite centrally located.
Room was pretty run down. Breakfast is very basic in selection and quality. Better book without and visit one of the many bistros in the closer area.
Room - clean.cleaning lady - did a great job, bed was always clean and tidy.Wifi - Great free wifi, I could have my online meetings without any issue.Localization : In the center , everything is closed to the hotel , restraurant , shopping etc..
Staff - not always present at the entrance and there is no ring bell to call them. I needed to wait more than 15min sometimes. By the way other people had their personal belongings stolen during their sleep (the staff is not checking who is entering to the hotel and the room doors can be open easily).Breakfast - Not a lot of choices , small amount and not very diversify.
Location of the hotel and the breakfast. Also the staff were friendly and helpful, and had a storage lockup for left baggage.
The space in the bathroom was a little small, as had a few items in there in a small area.
Close to metro but also possible to walk to main tourist areas. Staff there 24 hours.
The door lock was hard to open and close and you needed to leave your key at front desk each time you left.
The reception staff are very friendly. It’s a very basic hotel and good as a base for a few nights. I was attending a conference so the location was close to where I had to be, but if you are visiting Lisbon for the first time, then it’s quite far from the main central part (30-40 minute walk), so probably not the best hotel for first-time visitors. However, it was cheap and perfect for what I needed it for. I’d highly recommend it if someone is liking for a budget place to stay for a few nights.
There was serious damp in my room on the walls right next to the bed. The drains in the bathroom smelt very strongly too. The breakfast was essentially machine coffee, bread, and slices of processed cheese and ham, so very little variety if you’re staying for a few nights.
Location and bed very comfortable.
Breakfast not great
Far better than what was suggested in other reviews that we read, bathroom could do with a bit of a revamp but otherwise room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, air con worked well, breakfast is continental but has a decent variety. Good location too
The room was small but convenient for one night stay. The hotel is very close to the city center and main attractions.Breakfast was good. There is 24 hours parking in 10 minutes from the hotel.
The hot water is not coming immediately but after awhile.
Pleasant
Very bad smell bathroom sewerage. We were out most of time. If you’re sensitive with smell, don’t even bother.
The location and facilities were good for the price paid.
Noisy, my room was facing the stairs, maybe other rooms don’t have the same issue.
I had read the reviews of previous guests and went with low expectations. So, I was not very disappointed with what I found, especially as I used the room just for sleeping and doing some work.Reliable Internet.Powerful air conditionar that was able to keep the room nicely cool during a heat wave.Fridge in the room.
One of the poorest breakfasts I can remember in any hotel. Really miserable.Very small and crowded breakfast room.Tiny room.I paid 74 EUR per night, which by itself is not a high price but considering what was offered this price was far too much.
The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is old and beautiful, but all the amenities worked (A/C, hot water, good water pressure in the shower, there's a safe in the room, mini fridge worked). The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean, and I loved the high ceilings and preserved vintage aspects of the room. The street was quiet and the location was excellent for walking to bars, restaurants, coffeeshops, and the main sites in Lisbon. The manager also allowed me to extend my room for half a day because I had a late evening flight out of Lisbon and wanted to be able to return to the room to shower/pack before my evening flight - I was very grateful because this is not always common with hotels. The staff were very accommodating!
The towels were sufficient but if anything was improved, I would suggest new towels. They were fine, just worn out a bit from use.
Nice and clean and comfortable. A bit "careworn" but it's an old building that's used regularly. To me clean and comfortable is what matters most.
Location was excellent, staff very obliging, breakfast adequate,
An electric jug would have been appreciated,
This hotel is close enough to metro station, surrounding is peaceful and safe. It is important that if you arrive late at the night staff is there. Also possible to get simple breakfast at the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Noisy from outside, also room size was small.
