Pros +
- Location - central and one minute from metro. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
- Great location! Close to Metro, tram, and bus stops. Right in the middle of all there's to see in Lisbon.
- the location and the bike amenity for free
Cons -
- I didn't like the early check-in fee. The room was ready and available they just wouldn't waive the fee. I'm used to complimentary early check-in as long as there is availability when traveling in the states.
- no breakfeast included
- noise

Location amazing!!
The location is perfect (next to the subway Baixa-Chiado). The staff is very friendly. The bed is confortable and the shower is very strong. The room is silent and I could rest really well.
The room is a little bit dark. Even though it had two windows, the natural light doesn’t come in, so the illumination could be improved for this type of room (the ones that faces another building)
It is very central and price quality balance is very fair.
Klo and shower needs some maintaining
Convenient location that offered a breakfast buffet for a fee. We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and the hotel staff was very friendly Would stay there again
All good
The staff is lovely, kind, and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and a with a firm mattress, and extra pillows. Breakfast was quite good.If we come back to Lisbon, we'll stay here again, for sure!100% recommend! ☺️
We have no complaints at all.
Breakfast was excellent lots of variety - walking distance to all facilities - metro and train station walking distance - so good
All good
This hotel location is perfect ! Close enough to find many attractions in Lisbon, at the same time is far enough from the noisy streets and crowd. The metro station half block away, just couple minutes walk. The hotel room was nice, with comfortable beds and everything was clean. Our friendly hostess answered our questions and about the city, she was very informative.Stay Hotels will be our choice again, when we return to Lisbon.
At breakfast time, the Espresso machine had no information to use, so you have to ask the staff. Would be nice to have a sign ( step 1. and step 2. etc.) The eggs and bacon was cold because the heater was not working (?) or was not on. Small little detail, but would be nice, since the technology is there already...so use it ;)
Great location, short walk to downtown, lotsa shops and restaurants, next door to a Metro stn, very helpful and professional staff
Convenient location
No hotel slippers, limited hotel staff to assist
Breakfast was good, Staff were great. location is excellent.
Very limited channels on TV (i know you don't spend much time in room anyway) very basic room. bed, desk, chair. no safe in room. carpet was worn and needs updating. view is of building across very narrow street but not unexpected being located in the old part of the city. no hotel sign is visible in the street. only a sign on the recessed door which can only be seen when directly in front of the door.
Locations great, friendly personal, overall hotel feels good
The carpets in room are dirty, literally had black feet, not pleasant smell from bathroom
Location is brilliant, everything interesting is in walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Room furniture is a bit outdated.
Location was good. Very clean. Some staff was very approachable, while others seems not engaged.
More engagement from staff- when asking a question, was like pulling teeth.
The location of STAY was amazing! So close to restaurants, shops, bars, and easily accessible by taxis/Ubers/Bolts. The rooms were clean and well kept, all the basics were covered (ex: supplied in room tea, water, toiletries, etc...). When we would return from the bar late at night, STAY was enclosed by two metal gates which we had to ring the front desk to get in. We appreciated the added security, always makes it better for peace of mind! We really felt comfortable and enjoyed our time!
The location was very close to the metro, which was helpful but it was a bit too "in the thick of it" in terms of tourism. As soon as we walked out the door, we were right in the center of everything (good for some, less good for other travelers!)
We arrived at our hotel after a 10-hour flight around 9am, and then were unable to check in until 4pm as expected. It was 101°F/38°C while we walked around for 7 hours, and we were so excited to take a shower after we were able to get into the room. Once we checked in, we realized the room had no towels. We tried to call the front desk but no one answered, so I went downstairs to ask. We were told there were no towels at all in the hotel, because the laundry service had not dropped them off. The staff was entirely unapologetic about this. They did not even have a hand towel to offer us. They also suggested that we just keep checking with them. They never answered the phone once during our entire stay, so that meant going downstairs, which we did every hour to check. When we checked at 6pm and there were still no towels, we asked if there was a nearby place we could go buy a towel. The staff person simply said "I don't know." They didn't even offer to google or something! Around 7pm, they finally called us and said we could come down to the desk to pick up towels. It seems silly to point this out, but the listing clearly stated that they provide towels, but this was not the case, and we were offered no compensation or help. When I finally was able to shower, I noticed a lot of grime and mold in the bathroom (as shown in the pictures). The third night of our 4-night stay, there was also a film crew shooting a commercial in the bar across the street overnight. This meant they had floodlights in the street. Though our curtains were sufficient for regular nights, this meant that it was very bright in our room throughout the night and we hardly got any sleep. Of course, this was not under the control of the hotel staff, but the following day they told us they had known it was going to happen. They didn't do anything to warn guests, or perhaps provide something like sleep masks.
